thus the empty page

he told her to write a
story
but the page stayed blank.

when he asked her why she
hadn't written anything, she
replied:

i have written
everything
on this paper.
my thoughts, my feelings.

i am blank and empty,
with nothing worth saying,
nothing to my
name.
