she smelled like
dusty roses and cheap perfume-
i never actually wanted anything
more
than a kiss, you know
i never wanted a relationship
no strings attached-
now she's woven a web to keep
me close,
a fat mosquito-
a parasite, she sucks the life
from my body

a psychological vampire,
you called it

maybe you were right all
along?
i have nothing left

someone please send
help-
my last signal flare drowned in her
saliva,
she kissed it from my mouth
extinguished its glare,
her shark's teeth chewed it to
bits,
her fangs are sharp enough
to draw blood with the slightest
graze

i've been noticing that the majority of my readers are turkish (94%, actually): so i was wondering: how did you find my poetry?
