*4am! Sasha woke up and rushed to the bathroom because she was moments away from throwing up. she just collaped to her knees because her body is so weak and she is so drained from everything she's been through since she found out she had cancer and the hatred she feels towards not having any of her hair since it all fell out not that long ago with the treatment she's been getting*
Jessica: *woke up because she heard noises coming from the bathroom. she was scared because she didnt like that her mum was so sick. so she slowly walks up to the bathroom door and tried to talk to her mum without getting upset* mama?... are you ok?
Sasha: *feels so bad that her daughter has to see her like this* im ok honey!... just go back to bed and ill be out in a minute! *sits against the wall and just stays there to wait and see if she is ok to get up and go back to bed*
Jessica: *sees her mum walk out the bathroom* mama? *looks up at her mum and has tears in her eyes*
Sasha: *looks down at Jessica as she gets into bed* yeah?
Jessica: do you need to go to hospital? *frowns at the thought*
Sasha: *sighs because she had been thinking that it was probably best if she was to stay in the hospital and get professional care* i think so honey!
Jessica: really? *looks up at her mum with the saddest look on her face that Sasha has ever seen*
Sasha: i think it would be best if i stayed in the hospital because the doctors will be able to look out for me *smiles weakly as she cuddles her daughter*
jessica: ok! *sighs then looks back up at her mum* dont worry, me, Tana and Britty will come and visit you all the time. *smiles at her mum*
Sasha: *smiles at her daughter* id like that! ...now lets get some sleep because its super early
Jessica: ok mama! *looks at her mum then cuddles into her and holds her with a strong grip but not in a way that will hurt her*
*by the time morning came Sasha was back in the bathroom, throwing up blood this time round. she was so greatful that the girls were able to help her and keep jessica away from the sight. once Sasha was done throwing up the girls rushed sasha to the hospital and were being told to stay in the waiting room while doctors and nurses saw to sasha and checked out what condition she was in*
*1 very painfully slow hour goes by and the girls dont here a single word about how Sasha is doing. they just have to sit there and hope for the best, while trying to keep jessica from getting to upset from all the unknown as well*
Brittany: *was holding Jessica close to her chest while she also held onto santana's hand. comforting them the best she could* would either of you girls like a drink of water?
Santana: nah... im good! *is just saying that because her mind is all over the place and she doesnt want to think of anything other than hoping the doctor comes to get them soon so they can see sasha*
Brittany: *smiles weakly as she sees Santana so on edge. then she looks down at the little girl in her lap* what about you munchkin? *jessica doesnt say anything and just shakes her head as she sucks on her thumb*
Doctor: *another 10 minutes go by and the girls are still not moving or saying anything* excuse me, are you ladies here with sasha miller? *looks down at the girls
Brittany: *looks up at the doctor* yes sir!... how is she? can we see her?
Doctor: Mrs miller is sleeping right now because she is very weak. we had been trying to keep her responsive while we did some tests so that definitely tired her out even more. if you would like to, then you are more than welcome to see her. we have put her in a private room so you girls will be able to stay with her as long as you want and we will make sure there is as little disruption as possible. just myself and a nurse coming in to check on her every so often *smiles sympathetically*
Brittany: thank you! *smiles weakly*
Doctor: alright, follow me! *starts walking down the corridor as the girls follow close behind*
*they are walking for a few minutes then the doctor stops at a door and open it up so the girls can go in. Brittany let go of Santana's hand so she could walk in first then Brittany went in right behind her with Jessica still in her arms*
doctor: ill leave you ladies to have a rest and ill be back to check on her in a little bit *smiles at the girls as they sit on the chairs next to sasha's hospital bed*
Santana: thank you! *smiles weakly then turns back to sasha as he leaves the room*
*the girls sat in silence, getting lost in their own thoughts. they hadnt realised how long they had been sitting there and not saying anything, till the same doctor that showed them to the room, had come back to check on Sasha 30 minutes later*
Doctor: how are you's getting on? *stand next to the girls*
Brittany: helpless! *laughs nervously as santana and the doctor smile at her weakly*
Doctor: thats totally understandable! the good thing is that Mrs miller has been able to rest and hasnt coughed up any more blood. her heart rate is still at a good pace too! *looks up at the machines then back at the girls*
Brittany: yeah! *looks at the heart monitor then back to the doctor*
Doctor: is there anything i can get for you? we have some fresh apple for the little one and there are bottles of water for you ladies or a hot drink. *looks at the girls*
Brittany: could we please have 2 bottles of water and a small cup of apple juice please? *smiles at the Doctor*
Doctor: of course! i will have one of the nurses bring that to you just now *smiles then walks out after the girls thank him*
Brittany: *looks at Santana as she fidgets with her hands and looks deep in thought* what you thinking about?
Santana: *looks up at Brittany* everything! the evil goblins sure know how to keep me busy and on edge.
Brittany: *looks at San sadly then grabs hold of her hand to comfort her the best she can from where they are sitting* we will get through this, i promise. it wont be easy but we will figure it out together *smiles lovingly as Santana smiles back*
Santana: yeah! ... *looks at jessica and sees her peacfully sleeping in Brittany's lap* i just can believe that the universe is doing this to little jessica. she is so young and shouldn't have had to deal with this till she was much older. *feels so bad for the little girl who is probably so confused right now and most likely has a million questions she wants answers too but might never get them because that's just the way life works sometimes*
Brittany: i know baby! but she has us and we will be there for her any way we can so that we can hopefully make the situation a little easier for her to get through. we just need to be brave and make sure we make the best of every situation that comes so she can have the best possible outlook on life and see that there is good in the world even when it doesnt seem like it *smiles at santana*
Santana: you're right! we can do this! *smiles as Britt lifts Santana's hand up her her mouth and kisses her knuckles*
