*they all hung out at the beach for an hour then they started to get hungry so they got into the car and went to drop brittany, santana and Jessica off at their house*
Santana: *gets out the car with jessica and Brittany then she goes and stands by the driver door to speak to Harper and Annie* would you guys like to stay for lunch? and Tommy and Jessica can hang out a bit longer *looks at Harper then Annie*
Annie: really... are you sure? *looks at harper then to santana and Brittany*
Santana: of course! *smiles as Harper and Annie smile back*
Harper: ok then! *turns round to see Tommy already smiling about getting to hang with jessica a bit longer* come on kiddo! *gets out the car as does annie and Tommy*
Jessica: *smiles as Tommy walks up the front steps behind her* come on Tommy! lets go in the garden. *goes in the house and straight to the back garden*
Annie: thank you for having us in your home girls! *smiles as santana and Brittany guide harper and herself into the living room*
Brittany: no problem at all! would you ladies like a drink of anything? *looks at Harper and annie*
Annie: a tea would be lovely please *smiles up at Britt*
Harper: *brittany looks at her* i would also like a tea please *smiles at Britt*
Brittany: alright! i will go get those for you just now! *turns to Santana who was sat on the other couch, next to Tommy's mum's* what about you babe?
Santana: im fine just now! *smiles as Britt smiles back then goes off into the kitchen*
*when brittany went to fill the kettle up, she looked out the window and saw the kids sat next to each other on the grass with their back facing her. she managed to stay long enough that she saw Tommy turn his head to look at Jessica with a look of adoration as if he was really into whatever she was talking to him about. of course Britt didnt want to think to much into it just because Santana has been joking about the teenagers won't more than friends one day. she couldnt help that thought come to mind and think of how jessica is feeling if that was the case*
Santana: *walked into the kitchen because Britt had been in their a while and she wanted to see what was happening. Santana walked up to her as she continues to look out the window in a daze* see anything interesting?
Brittany: *jumped out her skin because she didnt hear san come in* mother of mary! dont scare me like that san. *looks round and see the smirk on Santana's face*
Santana: sorry! i just came to check on you because you had been in here a while. *brittany turns the tap off and places the kettle on the counter then turns round to face San*
Britany: im fine... i just got a little distracted with the lovebirds in the garden. *smiled as she made a joke of it just to get a reaction out of Santana*
Santana: wait, what? *goes over to look out the window and sees Tommy and Jessica sitting on the grass. she sees Tommy raise his hand to tuck a bit of jessica's hair behind her ear and they both had a smile on their faces like they were blushing* no way! *didnt know what to think of what she was seeing*
Brittany: what do you think is happening? *has got so many thoughts going through her mind all at once*
santana: im not sure! i wanna ask her about it but i already know that she wont want to just come out and say it. this is a big thing for her and she is probably going through so many thoughts and emotions *turns to place her arms over Brittany's shoulders as Brittany held onto Santana's waist*
Brittany: yeah! but should we at least let Harper and Annie know just so they can maybe talk to Tommy and see if he is more open to talking about stuff *looks at San*
Santana: yeah! we can tell them once we bring their tea to them. *gives Brittany a quick peck on the lips then puts the kettle on while Britt gets two mugs out the cupboard*
*another couple of minutes go by and the girls brought the cups of tea to harper and Annie*
Annie: *gets handed her tea by Santana* thank you! *smiles*
Santana: you're welcome *smiles then goes to sit on the other couch that she was on before*
Harper: *gets handed her tea by Britt* thank you very much! *smiles*
Brittany: you're welcome! *smlies then goes to sit next to San*
Annie: so, are the kids alright? *genuinely curious because she cant hear them laughing and running around outside like she thought she would*
Santana: thats one way to put it. *Smirks as she thinks about the closeness in which the kids where being with each other*
Harper: *gives Annie a look of confusion as Annie does to her. then they both turn to santana* what do you mean?
Annie: is this just another one of your jokes? *laughs a little because she hasnt known santana very long but already knows that she like to make a joke out of pretty much everything*
Santana: not from where i was standing! *laughs a little as Annie and Harper still have a look of complete confusion on their faces*
Brittany: *decided to just come out with it since Santana wants to joke around and wind them up* what santana is trying to say... is that when we were in the kitchen making tea for you both. we saw tommy and jessica sitting on the grass and they were smiling at each other longer than usual and it looked like they were blushing a little. then tommy reached up to tuck a bit of jessica's hair behind her ear, leaving his hands on her face a little too long for it not to be suspicious *looked over at Harper and Annie as they have their jaws are on the floor, not knowing what to say or think*
harper: wait a minute! are you sure? *wasnt sure how to feel about the whole thing*
Brittany: im not a genius but i know what its like having a crush on someone... *turns to smile at Santana and sees that Santana was already looking at her with such love and adoration in her eyes. they dont break their eye contact the whole time Britt speaks* and the way he was looking at her when she was talking, then the whole hand touching her face thing. that is exactly what i was like when me and santana first met and started to hang out more.*smiles at Santana then turns to look at Harper and Annie*
Annie: but i thought you were saying that jessica wasnt ready for that kind of thing? *looks at Santana and Brittany*
Santana: yeah! thats why we are a little lost about how to go about this. because she hasnt shown any interest in dating someone or even just having a crush on someone. so maybe she is just to scared to talk about it right now and is probabaly going through so many thoughts and emotions that she isnt used to. *looks at Harper and Annie*
Harper: well, i think its very sweet that they might be crushing on each other. we will need to keep an eye on it and see what's gonna happen and if tommy comes to us or Jessica comes to you girls about it within the next few days. then we will talk about it more and make sure everything is ok for them *smiles at Annie then over to the girls as they smile back*
Brittany: i agree! *smiles*
Annie: yeah, im sure it will all be fine in the end. no matter what the outcome is *smiles*
Santana: alright then! we wont bring it up even when i feel the urge to make a joke and wind her up *laughs*
Harper: uh huh! we will be sure to keep in touch with Brittany to check that you are sticking to that *laughs as does everyone else*
