*20 minutes go by and the girls are on the couch looking at dresses for Jessica.*
Santana: *sees a one strap, purple dress with a blue ribbon and blue material round the bottom of the dress* ooh that one's kinda cute *is still managing to keep her enthusiastic tone even thought Jessica has rejected the first 5 or 6 dresses that Brittany and Santana have pointed out to her*
Jessica: i dont know... the dress i choose needs to be perfect because ill only ever get to go to prom once. i cant just settle for the first dress i see!
Brittany: alright! lets keep looking and see if there is a dress that stands out more than any other. *smiles then jessica goes back to scrolling through the options and the girls just sit and wait patiently for Jessica to choose*
*another 20 minutes go by. Santana and Brittany are trying so hard to stay patient and enthusiastic but Jessica just cant make up her mind and keeps on picking out a flaw in every dress she sees*
Jessica: MAN ALIVE... why is it so difficult to find a dress that i'll never wear more than on prom night. *rolls her eyes*
Brittany: how about... you pick out your top three favourites of the ones we've looked at so far then send it to anna and Tommy to see what one they think would be best. *looks at Jessica with hopeful eyes because she knows how much Jessica values her bestie and boyfriend 's opinion*
Jessica: yeah! ill do that. thank you so much for your help girls! im sorry for being so indecisive and being a negative nancy. *smiles weakly at the girls*
Santana: no problem at all! we understand that its a stressful thing because you only get one chance at it. but im sure you will find a dress and are gonna look absolutely stunning on the day. try not to stress too much! *smiles as Jessica smiles back*
Brittany: *looks at san then jessica* yeah... what she said! *smiles as Jessica smiles back*
*it was a few hours later and Santana and Brittany were going up the stairs to go to bed. they hear that jessica was talking on the phone very excitedly so they knew that it will either be anna or Tommy, still talking about prom with her*
Jessica: *was talking with anna about what the 2 of them will be wearing to prom and talking about how they were thinking of putting their hair. jessica looked up when she saw Santana and Brittany come in so she told anne she was gonna go* Hey Mum, hey Mama! *was finally getting used to calling the girls Mum and Mama instead of their nicknames that Jessica gave to them when she was a baby. Because she likes to make it clear to the 2 woman that she really appreciates them stepping up and taking on the role of looking after her, the way her mum would do if she was still around*
Brittany: *walks into the room and sits on the end of Jessica's bed while santana just sits on one of Britt'a thighs and has her feet flat on the ground to keep her from falling* hey munchkin! me and you're Mummy just came to tell you that we are going to bed now.
Jessica: ok! i was just about to get ready for bed too! even though i never even fall asleep till stupid o'clock in the morning these days anyway. *laughs a little*
Santana: yeah! your our big girl now but we still want you to get a good nights sleep. so please dont be on your phone any later than 1am, ok?
Jessica: alright! ill just say good night to tommy then ill be going to sleep *smiles*
Brittany: good girl! *smiles*
Jessica: good night Mama... good night mummy! i love you guys! *smiles then gets onto her knees to lean forward and give Britt then Santana a hug goodnight*
Santana: good night sweetie! we love you too and we cant wait to see what dress you have chosen for prom. *smiles as jessica smiles back*
jessica: if its alright! im gonna leave it as a surprise for the night of prom when i get dressed into it. then you will both get to see it *smiles*
