Tommy: *was sat on his bed when he saw Jessica slowly come into his room* hey cutie! *smiled instantly when he saw Jessica*
Jessica: *closed the bedroom door and stood a few feet away from Tommy because she was so in her head and distracted that she didnt know what to do with herself* hi! *had her hands in her jumper sleeves and had her head down, not looking directly at Tommy incase she just breaks down and looses it*
Tommy: do i not get any hugs or kisses today? *laughs as he tries to lighten the mood*
Jessica: *laughs a little then goes over and sits on the edge of Tommy's bed and gives him a kiss* better? *laughs*
Tommy: of course! *smiles at Jessica* ...im still waiting for that hug though! *smiles at Jessica* come on up! *pats the space beside him. Jessica gets up and goes onto the bed and snuggles up next to Tommy* ...you can give me a proper hug, im not gonna break, babe. *laughs at how Jessica is holding him so lighly like he is a glass skulpture. once Tommy said that, jessica relaxed and held onto him in a tight embrase, not wanting to ever let go*
*tommy knew that this was gonna be hard on Jessica, so thats why he kept on trying to hide just how tired he was this past week. their prom in this friday and he doesnt care about anything other than being strong enough to get through the night and make it unforgettable and everything that Jessica ever wanted*
Tommy: *hears Jessica sniffle a few times and her body started to lightly shake* hey... its ok.... *sits up and tries to get Jessica to look at him* im here babe and im not leaving you ok?! ...its gonna take alot more than a stupid cancer diognosis to take me away from you *knew exactly why jessica was upset so he just tried to comfort her the best way he can*
Jessica: *is speaking very weakly because of how worked up she is* b-but what i-if y-you can't?
Tommy: i promise you that i will be here... not only that but we are gonna go to prom together this friday and we are gonna be dancing till out feet fall off *smiles as Jessica smiles back*
Jessica: if you really cant be up and dancing like everyone then we can just sit down and stuff out faces with food. i dont want you to tire yourself out. *looks up at Tommy wirh concern in her eyes*
Tommy: are you kidding me... you are gonna be the one having to keep up with my moves. i am gonna be the best dancer that school has ever seen. *laughs*
Jessica: oh really? ...now this, ive got to see! *laughs at how cocky Tommy is being since he has always been the shy kid in school*
Tommy: prepare to get your socks knocked of *boops Jessica's nose and smiles because he was able to cheer her up and calm her anxieties*
Jessica: alright then! i cant wait to see this dancing of yours Mr cocky. *Tommy kisses jessica then they go back to cuddling and enjoying the peaceful enviroment*
*skip to friday! its officially the day of Prom and due to Tommy's recent diognosis, Jessica hasnt been showing as much excitement as the girls expected from her on her Prom day. Brittany and Santana have been trying to show lots of enthusiasm just to try and get Jessica a little more hyped up and not so in her head about her current anxieties*
Santana: *was genuinly excited to see Jessica's prom dress since she hasnt been able to see it yet. so she didnt have to fake that part of her enthusiasm at all* so, are me and Mama finally getting to see you in your dress Munchkin ? ...how about you do a little runway for us to show your dress off? *smiles down at Jessica as she sits on her bed doing stuff on her phone*
Jessica: meh! i dont really feel like getting all dressed up yet. *goes back to doing stuff on her phone*
Brittany: come on Munchkin! this is your big day that you have been dreaming of for years. *hates that Jessica is so down and can no longer be excited about prom night. she just speaks to her with love and care as she tries to convince her to have a good time*
Jessica: yeah, well that was back when i was young and cluless of how awful life can be. just taking your happiness away from you when you finally begin to feel ok again after the universe messed with you a first time. *is so frustrated with everything that she doesnt know what to do with herself because all she wants to do is hide in her room and cry. all she does is lay on her bed and is facing way from the girls so they dont see her breakdown again*
Santana: *feels so bad that Jessica is already feeling so low about life when she isnt even in her 20's yet. San just lays down next to Jessica and cuddles into her* i know you are struggling right now because everything just seems to be falling apart before your very eyes. but i promise you it will get better. yeah, some things will never be easy to deal with, but thats why you get given friends and family. we are here to help you as best as we can so you know that you are not alone, no matter how much the evil goblins in your head try to tell you otherwise. *turns back to Britt, who was sat at the end of the bed looking up at the girls as they chat* a very wise woman once told me that! *brittany smiles at San because she was the one that would always describe bad thoughts and feeling as little goblins who live inside your body*
Jessica: *laughs a little because to her that sounds like such a Brittany thing to say* let me guess... Mama Britt told you that when you were having a freak out of your own? *turns her head to look at San and Brittany*
Brittany: how'd you know? *acts shocked at Jessica figuring out who Santana was talking about. Like Sam wasn't given Britt the biggest heart eyes a few seconds ago*
Jessica: *laughs at Britt's reaction* just a hunch! ...not many people in this world have a crazy imagination like you Mama *smiles as Brittany smiles back*
Brittany: i'm just awesome like that! *sassily flicks her hair which makes everyone laugh*
Santana: you and Tommy are gonna have the best night of your lives and it will always be the one memeory you rememeber ever when you are old and wrinkly. *smiles as Jessica smiles back*
Jessica: yeah, i guess you're right! ...ill go put my dress on. but you girls are gonna have to wait downstairs so you's dont cheat and look at it before im ready *laughs because she knows that San is deperate to see her in the dress that has been hidden in the wardrobe for the past month*
Britany: alright! we will see you downstairs. *smiles at Jessica then looks at San* come on Babe! *reaches out to grab hold of Santana's hand and guide her out the room before she starts fighting back*
*as soon as Jessica hears the girls go down the stairs, she gets out of bed and goes to get her dress from the wardrobe. once she has the dress on, she goes over and lets her hair down and brushes it a little so she can make it look a little neater. then Jessica gets her pink heel's on and carefully makes her way down the stairs and towards the living room, where she hears the girls talking and giggling together*
Jessica: *stands at the doorframe of the living room just out of sight from the girls* mum, mama! you guys ready? *hears the girls get excited so thats when she walks in the living room after a few more seconds*
Santana: *sees Jessica walk in and her eyes water instantly at how grown up Jessica looks* oh wow! you look beautiful sweetie. *smiles as jessica smiles back*
Brittany: *looks up at Jessica with nothing but pride and adoration at how grown up Jessica is and how far she has come since they first met her* absolutely stunning! Tommy is going to be floored when he sees you tonight *smiles as Jessica smiles back*
Jessica: thanks guys! i cant wait for Tommy to finally see me in this. he has only been able to see it when i first bought it and I asked him to choose between this and 2 others. *smiles as she looks down at her dress and sways a little*
Santana: alright! you better get out that dress so you can keep it nice for tonight! *looks at Jessica*
Jessica: yeah! ill go hang it up now *looks at San then goes back upstairs to get changed*
