For those of u who don't know what the Falklands are, they are group of islands off the coast of Argentina, that belong to the British Overseas Territories.

Despite being British for centuries, Argentina began claiming the islands in 1981 and it resulted in an undeclared war from the 2nd of April to the 14th of June 1982, which ended with a british victory. Argentina still claims the Islands, but in 2013 the habitants held a referendum on whether to stay british or become argentinian, and it ended with 99,8% wanting to remain british, with only 3 people voting against it.

But to be fair with the Argentinians, the first claim was made while Argentina was a dictatorship with a struggling economy, and there is simply no better way to distract ur people from a crisis then sending them to war :)
What I'm saying here is that it wasn't the people's fault. Tbh, it is barely ever the people's fault...

In fact, the economy was so wrecked, that many Argentinaians as prisoners of war, said that what they got from the British to eat, was better than what they got at home. And mind u, Britain is like about 8.000 miles away from the Falklands, soooooo... yeah. Pretty rough.

 Pretty rough

The birb is a Falkland Karakara btw, which is (as the name suggests) native to the Falkland islands

The birb is a Falkland Karakara btw, which is (as the name suggests) native to the Falkland islands. They even have penguins down there-

I could go on and on about the Falklands, but this is an artbook, and I'm already explaining too much anyway, so imma leave again :)

Btw, I absolutely hate how I drew the birb by now...
