Aaaaaand the unedited one. It looks horrible I know, I don't know why it still came out so monotone, so I fixed it :D

This from January btw-
And I already hate it, how fun :,)

Now, to explain the story behind this:

This is England as Thomas Becket, who was the archbishop of Canterbury (seaside town in Kent, England) from the 24th of May 1162 to his death on the 29th of December 1170. He was assassinated by four knights on the indirect behalf of King Henry the 2nd in front of the altar in his own cathedral. After his death, he was declared a saint and a martyr by both the Catholic and Anglican church.

Thomas and Henry were actually pretty good friends for a long time, and Henry was the reason that Thomas became the archbishop in the first place. Let's just say that their relationship went downhill from there.

In November 1170, Becket excommunicated the bishops of London and Salisbury, aswell as the archbishop of York, after they crowned the heir apparent, Henry the Young King, in York, back in June, without the normaly needed appearance of himself (the archbishop of Canterbury should have been present during the coronation). After Henry heard about Becket's actions, he supposedly said: "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" (referring to Becket), however, it is unsure what his exact words were, this is the most commonly quoted. After hearing the kings words, four of his knights traveled to Canterbury, and well, I already said what happened then.

Btw, I actually got his flag wrong :,)

It should be somewhat like this:

But I only realised that halfway through, and then I was too lazy to change it
