It's the Triple Alliance :D
I finally got to draw them again in this time period, after pretty much a whole year and I can now with 100% certainty say, that I yassified them 😔
Anyways, I should say too, that I made this for an art trade I am currently working on with a friend, and these are the ref sheets I made for them, so some of these following explanations will hopefully make more sense from that perspective ^^ :D

The Kingdom of England
The alliance between England and the Netherlands was signed on the 23rd January 1668 and put relations between the countries to rest after the Anglo-Dutch Wars. England was the main instigator of the alliance and their negotiator managed to form the alliance with the States General, before the French could interfere. At this point, England is once again ruled by the House of Stuart.

The Dutch Republic
He joined England's efforts for the alliance partly due to strained relations with France. Both however were glad to put their differences aside and the alliance was well received in the Netherlands. Spain was closely tied to the alliance aswell, but never officially joined to avoid France's further attention. The Triple Alliance would end up playing a large factor in the outbreak of the Dutch-French War, which in turn led to the change of power and subsequent creation of the Kingdom of the Netherlands- the Republic would be overthrown by the House of Orange-Nassau.
(That's why the flag still includes red and not orange, the Dutch Republic didn't use the colour orange yet)

The Swedish Empire
Sweden joined the Alliance on the 25th April the same year, mostly caused by similar disdain for the attempted French dominance in European politics. The Swedish control of the Baltic sea trade furthermore supplied the allies with the necessary materials for, amongst other things, shipbuilding.
At this point, I don't even know why anymore, but I love this time period in European history, and it keeps fascinating me everytime I learn about it- The 16th and 17th century are seriously underappreciated:'D (And everything before then too, but let's ignore that part for just a second-)
So I'm very happy to talk about it some more 😌
