This book is pretty old already, meaning that the art in the first few chapters honestly looks pretty bad- atleast I think...

Also I'd just like to say that I usually hate drawing blood realistically, but I actually think, atleast when it comes to the colours, I did a pretty good job, so that's some improvement-
Anyways, there was no ulterior motive behind this, I just wanted to draw a historical country, which ended up being Portugal, so there's no great history explanation for this, however I do highly advice you to check out the finished collab;
