Phone call

Jungkook Pov :

Going through the contact list I selected a name with hearts and dialled it quickly while waiting for YN to pick up.

Memories of our date which happened not even an hour ago flashed in my mind and I smiled at the thought.

"Babe"

I called out as she picked up my phone call.

"Hi Jungkook"

"Babe why does your voice sounds so weak?? Are you sick?? Does it pain?? Do you have fever??"

I asked worriedly once I heard her cracked voice.

"N-no. It's just that I woke up from a n-nap and my throat is sore"

I sighed in relief as she confirmed she wasn't sick.

"Babe drink warm water. I'm sure it will get well and also garle with it okk??"

"Hmm"

She hummed in response and I smiled.

"Now rest well. I don't want to disturb you. Bye babe I love you"

"Me too Kook"

I smiled at her response and waited for her to end the call. As she didn't end the call as usual I was about to but I stopped in my tracks as I heard some sobbing sounds.

I quickly put the phone near my ear again. My heart ached hearing her cry on the other side of the line.

Not thinking much I quickly grabbed my car keys and jacket and rushed out of my house and to the parking lot.

The drive to her place was only 10 minutes away. I soon reached her house and typed in the password.

Pushing the door open it closed automatically as my eyes searched for my girlfriend. I went to her room and my heart broke as I saw her all curled up on the bed as she cried.

"Babe"

I called out to get her attention. She slowly looked up as her eyes widened.

"Jungkook! "

She rushed towards me and hugged me tightly as she cried on my shoulder.

"Shhh babe it's ok, I'm here"

I said while hugging her back. I patted her head as my other hand caressed her back. I slowly took her to her bed and gently laid her down on the mattress as I cuddled her.

"Shh babe calm down and take deep breaths ok??Look at me"

I said as she looked at me with her teary eyes.

"Now do as I say. Inhale"

"Exhale"

"Inhale"

"And exhale"

I smiled as she followed my words. Wiping away her tears I looked in her eyes.

"Now tell me what's the matter?? Why are you crying??"

"I-i lost *sniff* o-our promise r-ring"

She showed me her left hand's empty ring finger while I looked at her dumbfounded.

"Is that why you were crying??"

I asked confused and she nodded her head. I sighed and then smiled.

"Babe you don't have to cry about it!"

I exclaimed as she looked at me.

"Jungkook it's really important. You gave it to me on our 2nd anniversary. It means a lot to me how can I not freaking cry???"
