5:The Dark knight hero

Third person POV
It was nighttime in Mondstadt, (y/n) was walking around Mondstadt with Lumine and Paimon. They were in search of the mysterious dark knight hero. (Y/N) was busy thinking about her things that bothered her. One of those things was the fact that she seems to be in love with Master Diluc. (Y/N) was horribly shy and awkward when it comes to these cheesy topics.

There was some noise by the side gate of Mondstadt, Lumine and paimon quickly ran towards the direction of the noise with (y/n) close behind.

Diluc was fighting a cryo abyss mage, he dodged the mage's attacks easily. The mage trapped him in ice with one blast but Diluc broke free with the help of his fire and he made quick work of the abyss mage.

"Master Diluc is the Dark knight hero?" Said paimon, shocked.

Diluc noticed that Lumine and Paimon was there, he then noticed (y/n). (Y/N) swore she saw that his face was a bit pink when he looked at her. "I managed to steer clear of the Knights' patrols but I never expected to run into you," Said Diluc.

Diluc folded his arms and raised an eyebrow. "The dark knight hero? What a ridiculous name, please tell me you didn't come up with that," Said Diluc, look from Paimon to Lumine and then to (y/n).

"You don't know what's the Dark knight hero? Haven't you heard the rumors?" Said Paimon, slightly confused.

"I don't listen to idle chatter, so unless you know another 'Dark knight hero'..." Diluc Said, trailing off.

"You're right Master Diluc! Maybe you should come up with something more original like uh...captain...pie?" Said paimon awkwardly.

"Pie?" Said Diluc, slightly amused.

"Pie..Pyro! So, Captain Pyro, what happened here?" Said Paimon.

(Y/N) was giggling softly behind Lumine, this conversation was amusing to her at least.

"The abyss order was doing some of their funny business here, I hope conversation was of use to you. I have a favor to ask of the three of you here," Said Diluc, looking at Paimon, Lumine and (y/n) each.

"What is it Captain Pyro?" Said Paimon.

"You must keep my identity a secret, do not tell anyone!" Said Diluc sternly as if he was worried of what would happen if his identity was revealed.

The trio nodded and watched as Diluc left in a hurry. A few minutes after Diluc had left, a knight, Huffman, came. "Honorary Knight! Traveler! What was with the noise here?" Said Huffman.

"Wait, are you the Dark knight hero, honorary knight?" Said Huffman.

Paimon looked at Lumine. "We er...um..." Lumine wanted to say something but she couldn't figure out what to say to keep Diluc's identity a secret.

(Y/N) POV
Huffman asked Paimon and Lumine to follow him, he didn't even address me,how rude. I sighed and walked into a Fatui diplomat.

This Fatui diplomat did not seem to recognize me. "Get out of my way," Said the Fatui Diplomat rudely.

I shot him a warning glare, the Fatui Diplomat froze. "Wait...you are (y/n)! The-" I hushed him. "Don't you dare say it out loud fool!" I said in a low voice.

The Fatui Diplomat quickly walked away, still shook. I walked towards Angel's share and saw Lumine and Paimon outside. "Hey guys! What did Huffman say to you?" I said.

Lumine told me everything, my eyes widened. "The abyss order? Attacking Mondstadt soon? What?! They want to get rid of Diluc? Not on my watch!" I thought, then I was sure that I was in love.

Diluc POV
Lumine, Paimon and (y/n) came into the tavern, wanting to speak to me.

"Yes? What do you want?" I said, folding my arms.

"Master Diluc! The abyss order!" Said paimon, rather panicked.

"I already know, I have a plan already," I said, I have everything planned out. Dealing with abyss order is no big deal for me.

"But Kaeya! He wants Huffman to watch you and he will know if you aren't at the tavern!" Said Lumine.

(Y/N) looked surprised when Lumine mentioned Kaeya asking Huffman to watch Diluc. I couldn't help but to feel as if we were destined to be together. "Even if I were to confess to her, I cannot risk the abyss order or the Fatui taking advantage of that!"

Third person POV
"Come with me to the dawn winery," Said Diluc, asking Charles to take over before he left.
