Third person POV
(y/n) was following Lumine and Paimon who was her 'tour guides' of Mondstadt. The Fatui diplomats there seems to recognize (y/n) but (y/n) gave them a sharp look that obviously means 'don't you dare say a word about my identity'. Paimon was blabbering about food when a tall(sorry if you are taller) male with blue hair appeared in front of the group.
"Hi Kaeya!" Said Paimon, pausing in the middle of her talk about sticky honey roast.
"Whose this cutie? Is she a traveler too?" Said Kaeya, referring to (y/n).
"Hey! Don't call me that please, I'm (y/n)," (y/n) said confidently.
"But you are so cute!" Said Kaeya, pointing to (y/n)'s low pony tail(sorry if you like short hair) which reminds him of Diluc. (Y/N) frowned at Kaeya, wondering if he was trying to flirt with her.
"This is Kaeya, he is the Calvary Captain of the Knights of Favonius," Said Paimon, explaining to (y/n).
(Y/N) POV
"Knights of Favonius? Calvary Captain? This is interesting, I wonder how well he can fight. He doesn't seem like the type to investigate new people too closely so I should be fine, but I can't tell if he thinks I'm suspicious or not..." I I was busy thinking when Paimon started to talk about Mondstadt's food.
Lumine seemed like she had listened to what Paimon said about food on repeat. They seemed nice, how will they react if they ever found out? Secrets were bound to be revealed at some point.
"Hey! Paimon has a great idea! (Y/N), do you want to help us explore around the wilderness? You said you are a traveler from Snezhnaya, we are planning to go there at some point of you can be a guide for us and we will be a guide for you here!" Paimon said cheerfully, Lumine seemed to like this idea but something seemed to bother her.
"Paimon, don't forget where the Fatui came from and what they did to Venti," Said Lumine sternly, she suddenly remembered that I was there and wondered if she said too much.
"Did what to Venti?" I said, extremely curious although I have an idea what she could mean.
"..." Paimon and Lumine was silent.
"It's ok if you don't wish to tell me, I won't press you! Let's just continue shall we?" I said, trying to break the awkward moment of silence.
Paimon cheered up almost instantly. "Yeah! Let's go!"
They spent the rest of the day exploring, fighting monsters and visiting places
Kaeya POV
"Something felt off about (y/n) so I decided to follow her around, she didn't do anything suspicious but there's something fishy. Am I overthinking this?" I leaned against a tree, trying to think what made me suspicious of (y/n) in the first place.
I went to Angel's share to get some wine, maybe it will help me get a clear idea. I entered the tavern to see Diluc there. "Oh look whose here," I smirked, mocking Diluc as I always do.
(Sorry if this is out of character for Kaeya, I don't really know his character that well)
