(Y/n) POV
I followed Diluc to Mondstadt, when we got to the cathedral, Lumine and Childe was inside. "Oh hey guys!" Said Lumine. "The knights decided to watch Maria until the assassins are caught, they think that it is the best course of action at the moment. I think I have a lead on the possible suspects!" Said Lumine.

Childe and I looked at each other, praying that we weren't on the list. Lumine pulled out a photograph, a photograph timed so well that it caught a picture of the bits of my ginger hair poking out from the cloak's hood and enough to catch Childe right after he dispersed his electro blades, electro particles were caught in the picture though. Childe's ginger hair wasn't really clearly seen. There was pyro particles around my hands but they were barely visible.

"From what we can see here, one of the assassins have an electro vision while the other has a pyro vision. Very faint traces of anemo was also found at the mansion," Said Lumine. Lumine looked at the ground. "But not enough to narrow it down..."

Childe shrugged. "Electro visions are so rare nowadays. Barely anyone has them! Just find the electro user and you can force them to tell you who the other person is! Easy!" Said Childe, Lumine looked at him. "That's a good idea," Said Lumine, smiling at Childe. Childe smiled back at her. Lumine pulled out another photograph.

This one wasn't as clear. It was a shot of electro being used on Maria, the angle caught a glint of the delusion but it was very blurry, the only clear thing in the picture was the electro element being used.

"Well but this picture...it speaks a whole different story! Look, the other one is using electro too! This got more complicated..." Said Lumine, drowning at the pictures. "Is that all we have?" I Said.

Please don't show anymore...please let these be the only ones!

Lumine shook her head and pulled out another picture. This was before the incident. It caught a glimpse of the moment I peeked into the mansion and Diluc leaving.

"So the assassins were waiting for you to leave, Master Diluc. I think they assume that you'll be troublesome to them and it will ruin their plans so that's why they were waiting," Said Lumine.

Diluc was deep in thought. He was thinking of a possible plan I assume.

Diluc POV
How can we get to the bottom of this? Was that a vision I saw? It doesn't look like a normal electro vision. It's a darker colour...a delusion? (Y/n) have an electro delusion doesn't she? Could it be? No...I need more evidence. I...I don't know how to feel. What do it do? what if this is the end? Argh...why did this have to be so difficult?!

Third person POV
(Y/n) sighed, she couldn't think of anything that would 'help'. She was thinking about ways to get out of this situation and make it look like they solved the case. A Fatui agent walked towards (y/n). "(Y/n), you have a new list of missions to do. Please finish them before next week, thank you," Said the agent, passing her a list.

(Y/n) saw the list and sighed. "Ah well, my workload is the same as ever...at least it wasn't as long as the one in Snezhnaya..." muttered (y/n). Diluc took a peek at the list, he gave a slight frown. "Well, gotta go! It won't take too long!" Said (y/n) before she went off.

(Y/n) POV
I had to assassinate three people. I was taught by my mentor how to efficiently deliver painful blows and how to end lives without them feeling a thing before they realized what happened. I never truly mastered the painless method. I always read over the book of wisdom he left with me and practiced everyday.

I still inflict some pain on the target, I used animals like boars to test it out. I was at the first victim's house. I gripped my sword harder than usual and went inside quietly. A man was arguing with his servants. This man was going to die because he owed a huge debt to the Fatui and he had plenty of time.

I listened to their blabbering for a while before I had enough. "Quit the arguing, your life ends here," I Said in a cold voice. The target turned around and saw me leaning against the door frame. His eyes lit up with fear. "Fatui! How did you get in?!" He screeched. I laughed. "The door wasn't locked."

The man pushed his servant towards me as he made a dash for the back door. I shot and arrow at the man, making him trip. I knocked out the servant and slashed the man to death. I left the house and lit it on fire before leaving.

The next target is slightly further away but the third target...it was a knight from the knights of Favonius. Apparently he recently stole a document that has every detail of the Fatui's experiments just yesterday. He would be stationed in a quiet corner of the city but for some reason, he did not give the document to Jean yet.

I sighed and returned to Mondstadt. I decided to get it over with. I walked over to the location to see a person in the knights of Favonius armor holding and reading through a file engraved with a Fatui symbol with pieces of documents inside. I slashed the unprotected areas between his armor and stabbed him in the head. I took the file and left, his blood didn't spray on me luckily.

I arranged for the file to be kept and headed to the location of the next target.

Diluc POV
I was watching (y/n) from afar and from the shadows. She didn't seem to notice me at all. So far, all she did was taking down some people. She's off to the next location I guess, I should follow her a bit quicker now.
