21:The battle

(Y/N) POV
I ran towards the golden house, the guards were all knocked out. That means Childe is inside already. I ran inside. I came in to see Lumine battling Childe. They didn't seem to notice that I came in.

Is it worth fighting Childe to stop him from killing Lumine for no reason? What if this is reported to her majesty? But Rex lapis is alive, the gnosis is not here. I should try to intervene.

I pulled out my bow, I aimed it at Childe. I Pyro charged the three arrows that I'm about to fire. I watched their movements for a bit and fired. The first arrow brushed against Childe's elbow, it was a warning. The second one was dodged. The third one went out of course and hit the ground. "Stop fighting!" I yelled. Childe didn't listen to me, instead, he continued fighting.

I frowned, Childe was too caught up in the battle. I decided to just go in close range. I switched to my sword and climbed one of the pillars. I leaped down from above, doing a plunging attack. My attack separated them for a moment. "I said STOP! Nobody is dying today!" I shouted, glaring at Childe. Childe simply just pushed me out of the way. He activated his delusion. "Well, you cannot stop me from having fun in this battle. Step aside now, (y/n)," Said Childe, slowly walking towards Lumine to continue the fight.

I sighed, this battle has to stop. I went up behind Childe and pyro charged my sword, I landed a blow in Childe, avoiding his vital organs, I slashed an 'x' mark on his back.

Childe glared at me, grazed the side of my face with his water blades which had now been combined into a spear and electro was also added to the blade. The wound was electro charged. Childe took this opportunity to fling me away from him as he knocked Lumine back.

"I have to say, your swordsmen ship is impressive. But that's as far as you'll go!" Childe's spear was stopped by Lumine creating a small ball of anemo magic, the spear was slowly going through. Lumine used geo to attack Childe from behind. There was a cloud of dust and Lumine did a backflip and landed gracefully.

Childe's spear was the only thing there when the dust cleared. Childe was at the exuvia, he reached his hand inside the fake body's chest and took out nothing. Childe was enraged, he activated his Foul Legacy transformation. "Childe! Stop! Just leave her alone!" I shouted. Childe wasn't listening, he broke the floor and I watched as Lumine and Paimon fell to the next level. I watched as Childe slowly floated down.

I had no choice, I cannot handle Childe's power in this form of his. I activated my delusion, the pain was mild but it will get more painful the longer I use it. I plunged down, my sword infused with electro and pyro, causing vaporize and overload on Childe from his electro and hydro meeting my electro and pyro. He was definitely bigger, he had armor and I wasn't sure if he still had a face under that mask. Landing on Childe's armor also made me get cut by some sharp points.

That blow did a toll on Childe, the additional damage from plunging and the elemental reaction helped. Lumine took the opening to use anemo to throw Childe off balance. I was curious to see if the mask could come off so while I was on Childe's back, I tried to force the mask to come off. Lumine sent a gust of wind at Childe and the mask fell to the ground. (Sorry, I just had to do this. Childe under that mask would look somewhat hot in my opinion)

Childe with a different hair style was so weird, his eyes was purple instead of blue and his expression was rage and surprise, he looked extremely attractive if I was being honest. "Oh dang," I muttered before letting Lumine hit Childe with another blow. I snapped out of the cloud of feelings I was in and felt a sharp pain all over my body and a suddenly burst of pain at my stomach. Childe had stabbed me,I fell off from Childe's shoulders and landed on the ground next to him as he transformed back, the transformation back to his normal self sent a shockwave that made the pain worst. The bleeding was already bad enough.

My delusion deactivated and the pain continued. It hurt everywhere.

Lumine POV
I was tired, Childe returned to normal and (y/n) was bleeding and in pain. It was rather strange that (y/n) fought Childe instead of fighting me.

Childe POV
My body hurt, it was a thrilling fight but also strange, my own sister fought me and she took off my mask from my face. I was sure that was unnecessary. I suppose it was my fault I did ask her to fight me in the past and now she did.

Third person POV
The three were busy catching their breath when Childe finally spoke up. (Y/N) didn't hear much of what he said but the pain and bleeding was causing her to fade in an out of consciousness . Childe noticed her and carried (y/n) with one arm as he summoned Osial and fled with (y/n) barely conscious.

Childe brought (y/n) to a mountain near the golden house which provided the sight of Liyue Harbor. It was raining, the rain was getting heavier. (Y/N) gathered herself and slapped Childe. "Ow! What was that for?" Said Childe. "That's for being an idiot. Signora told me that Rex lapis already made a contract with her majesty. I didn't want you to kill Lumine for no reason so I stepped in, but your stupid ass used your foul legacy transformation and I had no choice but to use the delusion..."

Childe hugged (y/n) tightly. "I'm sorry, how badly hurt are you?" Said Childe. "Well, there was me plunging down to attack you twice, the force hurt me a bit, then you decided to graze me and I was electro charged because your blade was electro and hydro. Then there was the part where you probably didn't notice but... you stabbed me. But to be fair, I also slashed you..." said (y/n).

The two siblings were both bleeding, (y/n) tossed Childe a pouch. "There's bandages inside, should be enough. I figured someone would get hurt badly," Said (y/n), coughing up a bit of blood. Childe tended to (y/n) wounds before his, he felt bad.

(Y/n) and Childe returned to Northland Bank, Childe was supporting (y/n) as they stumbled inside. The battle outside was irrelevant to them for now. Signora was there, her eyes widened to visual concern as she saw that both of them was injured.

"What happened?" Said Signora. "Well...um...she came to stop me from killing Lumine and I might have beaten her up quite a bit...heh...she's fine though, don't worry," Said Childe. Signora pulled Childe's ear. "You idiot! You even hurt your siblings in a fight? You should've stopped you know, that fight you had was a WASTE of TIME!" Said Signora, angry at Childe.
