"Where are you going?!"

From the moment I heard a shout from the outside, I immediately dropped the paper I was holding and ran as fast as I can. Avalanche, will completely cover and destroy this place if I won't do this. I know it will be hard and risky since it might drain me up but I need to try or else, Gleymt will be a frozen wasteland once again.

The people ran towards the main building as the avalanche started to run free towards our direction. Trees began to disappear with the massive snow falling from the mountainside. I ran towards the border and stood in front of the cliff. I tried to catch my breath while I close my eyes to think of what's possible.

I squeezed both my palms into a fist, allowing the cold and blizzarding touch of winter to wrap around my senses. When I felt the avalanche ran nearer and was only a few meters away, I opened my eyes along with my fist. "Ha!"

I pounded my palms on the ground full of snow and buried them as I shouted. I felt an expected sting from my palms when it hit and broke the icy ground, seeing my blood wrap the part of snow made me even more willed to make this happen. Slowly, the ground started to shake, the edges of the place began to crack, and there, my wall of ice started to rise.

It broke the ground turning them into big stone-like mediums, breaking its way for the ice wall to stand firm and block the avalanche. I pushed even deeper and stronger, with force I spread my powers to create the wall that will cover Gleymt and prevent the avalanche from reaching its place.

I felt my strength slowly disappearing with the powers I shed, the avalanche was pushing itself on the wall but it was thick enough to stand on its own. When I saw it flood its way in front of me, there I knew it was successful. I smiled to see how the wall covered and surrounded the place, it was the last piece of image I had in my mind right before everything turned black.

I gasped when I felt the cold touch of metal while I sleep. It startled me awake, I blinked a couple of times before finally opening my eyes full. "Hey," said Liam who was sitting beside me.

"Hey, what happe-" I was about to hold my forehead with my hand but my hand was stuck in a way that I couldn't raise it higher than how it is. I furrowed my brows with my lips parted when I saw how my hands were.

"Why am I in cuffs?" I asked Liam who was looking down on the floor, expressionless. "Liam! Why am I in cuffs?!" I asked one more time.

He moved his head to the side and showed me a hopeless face. "T-they said they can't let you lose," he stuttered.

I scoffed when I heard his answer. "Are you kidding me?" I asked, feeling a sense of anger that slowly filled my brain. "Uncuff me!" I shouted.

"Ascella," he mentioned my real name and continued to disregard my words which made me even more furious.

"Uncuff me, Liam!" I angrily shouted, I started to move differently as I tried to set myself loose.

"He can't," Kali appeared behind Liam all of a sudden, I stopped moving when I saw her. She was wearing her evil grin as always.
