"Huh! You must have completely lost your mind! Did we ask for you to come back?!"

I thought that it was the Chief who was standing beside her seat, I was wrong. It was her sister, Kali. Upon realizing that it was her, I already expected words sharp as a knife that might and will exit from her very mouth. Gossip from the servants and guards, an awkward atmosphere, and a terrible greeting were what met me halfway.

"I need to speak with the Chief," said I. I continued to look down on the ground as I tried not to create such a terror appearance.

"Disagreed!" she exclaimed angrily and stomped off with her staff. "You are not in any place to talk with the Chief! You must have forgotten how you got evicted from this place, am I wrong?" she continued.

"I have not!" I stood up and lifted my head as I cross my eyes with her. "I need to tell her something, this is more important than what you think, Kali. This can cost the entire Gleymt if you continue to stop me!" I reasoned out, trying everything in my path to convince her of my purpose.

I expected her to answer directly as possible since this is a serious matter, but instead she chuckled wickedly and started to sweep my words under the rug. "We already placed Gleymt in great danger when we trusted you, Jill. Once! Once, when we trusted you to take charge and we're not making that decision ever again!"

I got frustrated with how she tried her best to stop me from talking to her sister, I bit my lip and breathed heavily. "This is concerning Gleymt, Kali!" I insisted.

"Nonsense, Jill! Who knows what moves you will do once you're alone with her?" she moved her head to the sides as she squinted her eyes and walked steps closer to me but she didn't leave the platform to maintain an equal distance. "The world is full of evil, I cannot risk another step."

I blinked twice. "Why do you think would I return if it wouldn't affect this whole place? Do you take me that little for someone to be trusted?"

"Stop bluffing, Jill! I won't take more lies from you. Even your name itself is a lie, is it not?" she pinned her point further.

I tried not to show her an improper move but she was getting worst. I sighed and placed my hand on my waist, forcing myself not to fight fire with fire. I licked the bottom of my lips and started to breathe normally to prevent any further self-rising conscience.

"Is something wrong, Aunt Kali?"

I raised a brow when I heard a very familiar voice from behind which made me turn around to see who it was. It was Josh, his physique changed a bit but I knew it was him. His build grew even more toned, his hair was brushed up unlike before and his armor was also different from what he wore back then. He walked his way towards her Aunt. Kali smiled evilly, her red-glittered eye-liner matched her evil look.

"Nothing," Kali lied but Josh raised an eyebrow to her which made her spit it out. "Well, as you can see, some pest came back after someone chew her full." she rolled her eyes as she turned her gaze towards me.
