"haven't i told you not to feed yangyang any chocolate?!" yoomin yells at him.

they had just gotten back from school and she found out that ten had let the older twin have a bit of candy during lunch time.

"b-but he wanted some, miss–"

"but why did you still give it to him? if he was hungry, you should've fed him the sandwich i put in his lunchbox!" ten doesn't like loud noises, and ontop of that he doesn't like it when people are yelling at him with high pitched voices— it's just painful.

"he really wanted the chocolate, miss.." he timidly says, hearing the beta groan in frustration.

he couldn't just always say no to the kid. all yangyang wanted was just a chocolate bar and when a nearby nanny had offered some, yangyang took the chance to ask for some. ten felt happy to see the kid's eyes sparkle at the taste of chocolate that he's probably hadn't had in a while.

he follows her inside the kitchen, hearing her call out for seulgi, clearly annoyed.

"did you pack any chocolates in yangyang's lunch box?" yoomin asks through gritted teeth. seulgi looks taken a back, shaking her head. "of course not! all the candy is in the mini fridge you have upstairs in your room!" she replies, scratching her head.

yoomin turns to face ten, going into his personal space.

"this is a warning for you, ten. you follow the rules i make and if you don't like it, you can get the hell out of my house. understand?!" ten quickly nods, ignoring how his hands shook. he felt too small and fragile. he wanted hide and run away.

"you don't even give the kids what they want because they will end up spoiled! okay? if this happens again, i will not hesitate to fire you." she says before storming away. seulgi hates that she overheard her say 'fucking omegas' on the way out.

meanwhile, ten falls to the ground and lets out the breath that he's been holding in the entire time. tears are rimming his eyes and his body feels too cold. "ten! hey, are you okay? talk to me buttercup." joy kneels close to him, supporting the latter on his back.

ten just sobs. silently. he's scared, he's not comfortable with how she talked to him, but he has to survive.

he regains his composure after a few breathing exercises joy had guided him through. he's more stable now and feels a bit better.

"hey ten, how are you feeling?" joy calmly says, giving him a kind smile. the thai male just sighs, pursing his lips. "i-i'm okay. thank you joy." he says, leaning on the cupboards.

seulgi squeals in frustration. "how dare that woman act like she's the mother of those kids! she doesn't even know the first thing to being a decent human being and she thinks she can act like a parent! how disgusting!" she stomps her foot. lily gives her a panicked look, trying to stop the older from letting yoomin hear her.

"s-seulgi unnie please– she might hear you–"

"then let her hear me dammit!"

"donghyuck-ah, it's time for you to do your homework." ten says, sitting down on yangyang's bed. the younger twin frowns. "why do i have to do homework?" he whines, throwing a fit as he grabs his textbooks.

"what are you even doing here anyway?" yangyang looks up at the nanny. "i'm here to watch over you guys to make sure you two can finish your homework!" the nanny says, shifting to an indian sit.

yangyang puts down his ipad and huffs. "fine, i'll do my homework." he says, grabbing his textbooks as well. donghyuck taps ten on the arm. "uncle ten, what does this word mean?"
