the next few days pass by in a heartbeat.

the bruises on ten's face and limbs are slowly beginning to fade and his complexion is starting to show more warmth by the day.

johnny smiles when he enters ten's hospital room, raspberries and cream filling his nostrils. ever since the omega had stopped wearing those damn scent patches, johnny has been feeling more giggly by the minute and ten's slowly turning into his old self once again.

the omega is looking out the window, hands folded in his lap. the bandage wrap that covered majority of ten's head now looks more like a bandana, and less like bubble wrap.

taeyong and jungwoo follow him into the hospital room. the omega turns and smiles at the sight of his two friends. "i haven't seen you two in a while," ten comments, hugging the two. taeyong snorts pulling away. "jisung's a handful. i forgot how difficult it is to take care of a baby," he sighs, sitting down on the waiting seats.

jungwoo giggles. "should've thought about that when you and jaehyun did the nasty, hyung." he teases, only to be scolded by the older omega.

ten had met jungwoo when he was picking the twins up from school. apparently, he was the kids' teacher and he was such a breath of fresh air in all honesty. he reminds ten of that one guy on tv that eats exotic things like ants.

soon enough, he had learned that jungwoo has a boyfriend that is also one of johnny's close friends. did that man have friends everywhere? ten wouldn't be surprised if he was friends with two snake plushies named jason and fred.

jungwoo sits down next to taeyong, looking up at ten who played with his fingers. "what's wrong ten?" he asks, his voice soft and gentle as per usual. ten feels like he needs to raise the volume on his phone whenever jungwoo calls.

the ravenette shakes his head. "you guys look so cute and here i am with a nice black eye," he sadly jokes, gesturing at the bruise that covered his left eye. the color id starting to fade much more, turning into a deep indigo color. there were green and yellow patches around the edges too.

ten pouts. "hey, you're still pretty, you know. don't let that ugly black eye ruin the way you see yourself," taeyong says, poking his friend. "i can't wait when i'm fully healed. i just want to go to a spa or something," ten confesses, huffing. johnny chuckles, sitting at the foot of his bed.

"we can do that. once you've recovered, we'll set an appointment for your spa day— unless you want to being the kids with you." johnny offers and the ravenette nervously laughs. "i'd choose to probably go without them just that one time,"

the two omegas watch the little exchange happen, grinning till it reached their ears. eventually johnny and ten stopped, looking up at the two gossiping omegas.

"what?" ten asks, complete clueless. taeyong breaks into a fit of giggles, followed by jungwoo. "you guys are so cute. gosh," the youngest omega says, brushing back his bouncy hair. johnny just awkwardly smiles.

"i have a girlfriend." he simply says.

it seemed like everyone forgot about said girlfriend. probably because she's never shown her face ever since ten got in the hospital 4 days ago. where the hell even was she?

taeyong scoffs. "forgot about her. where is she anyway? everyone's visited ten but her? it's common courtesy, even if she doesn't like her." johnny sighs, fiddling with his phone that looked way too small in his hands. "she's just busy."

she hasn't returned his calls, or messages when usually she does. johnny, being the nice guy he is, tries to give her every benefit of the doubt— but he's getting concerned. last time he saw her was when he went home the day of ten's accident, packing up clothes. she said she had an overseas business trip.
