"papaaaaa— do we really have to go home?" yangyang whines, draping himself over johnny's luggage.

it's the day they all have to leave, unfortunately. their flight was in about two hours (taeyong wanted to be there earlier but jaehyun told him he's going to dull out his knives if he did) and everyone was getting ready for their flight back to seoul.

"yes cub, we have to go back home— don't you want to see auntie joy, yeri, mina, seulgi and lily?" johnny asks and ten brightens at the mention of his friends. most of them went to their hometowns or abroad to spend time for themselves or with their mates, so the house was practically empty.

yangyang gasps, eyes sparkling. "oh! i wanna see them! i miss playing alien spaceship with auntie joy!" he says. it makes ten remember when he first got the job and found joy running away from the (demon) kids with stickers and glitter all over her. what a great memory.

"and we can play princess tea party!" johnny doesn't know where donghyuck suddenly had an infatuation with anything pink and girly, but hey, it's the 21st century— anyone can like whatever and whoever they want.

ten finally zips up his bag with a satisfied sigh before placing it on the hardwood flooring. "that hurt my back," he mutters, stretching his back. "what will happen when we get back home?" donghyuck asks, playing with the hem of his green jumper. "you guys go back to school!" winter beams, slipping inside their parents' room.

surprisingly, both yangyang and donghyuck enjoy school which is hilarious, unlike sungchan who would rather shove his face in a sandbox than go to school (taeyong thinks he gets it from his dad like a true 'jung').

"i wanna see hyunjin again because he gave me carrot cake last time!" donghyuck squeals. both parents are aware of the kids in the class giving donghyuck food, which is kinda odd, but as long as donghyuck doesn't always rely on his classmates for food (or if he's bullying anyone into giving him food) they're okay. "hyunjin? what about markie?" winter teases.

donghyuck replies by throwing his sun plushie at her.

"alright— is everyone packed and ready to go?" johnny asks after scanning the entire room incase anyone left something behind. the others nod. "okay, you guys go on ahead and do whatever you want, just make sure you don't do anything bad, okay?" ten says, glancing at the twins mostly.

"we wont," yangyang pouts, following donghyuck and winter out of their parents' bedroom like a little duck.

as soon as the kids leave, ten sighs, plopping back down onto the bed. "i really just want to stay here," ten tells his boyfriend who's just looking out the balcony window with a small smile. ten, purely confused, scoots so he can get a clearly view of johnny's face.

"why are you smiling? are you planning something evil?" ten furrows his brows. johnny laughs, eyes forming into cute little crescent moons. "no— i was just thinking... when we have the time for ourselves, i want to take you somewhere. as much as i'd hate it, i would want that day to be just us, no distraction, without the kids— just us spending time together." he says, intertwining his hands with ten's smaller ones.

ten's eyes soften, lips forming into a small smile. "aw, honey. that's sweet, but.... don't we do that already?" he asks, raising a brow. "technically, but this time, i want to show you around. maybe we can go to places around korea for a day or so– or maybe even in a different country." johnny says, looking down at ten with sparkling eyes.
