the gray cardigan ten wears definitely brings a great amount of warmth to his petite frame as he watches johnny pick out a color to dye his hair in.

this morning was pretty interesting, to say the least. ten had woken up way too early because winter needed help with styling an outfit for an upcoming party (which was literally next month), and also because the twins didn't want him to leave.

"but uncle ten, you promised we would play doctor!" yangyang clings onto his leg, not even budging when johnny tries to pull him off the latter's leg. ten laughs, picking yangyang up and letting him rest in his arms.

"uncle ten will be back this afternoon. your dad just needs some help, don't worry." he smiles, pinching the child's chubby cheek. when he puts yangyang down, donghyuck hugs his legs tightly.

"take care of him, papa!" the twin says in his sternest voice ever (read: attempts) to which everyone laughs at how cute donghyuck is.

eventually the two manage to leave without any complication, waving a final goodbye to the twins who had tears welling up their eyes.

he snaps out of his thoughts when johnny calls for him to which he immediately reacts, walking towards the latter. "what color do you think looks best on me, ten?" he asks, pointing at the similar shades of browns.

ten is somewhat dumbfounded but ends up choosing a chestnut brown hair color to which johnny hums at and decides on the color ten chose.

he walks back to the waiting chairs, fumbling with the black sling purse that went well with his cozy outfit— it was winter season too so might as well dress warmly but again also because korea is cold almost all year round.

the purse had a few things like his wallet, some chapstick, a bit of perfume, some spray on alcohol and his old beat up phone. it's a touch screen, but it barely even moves since it's so old and practically worn out.

he only uses it to call his family back home, nothing else. he remembers when the girls screamed at the sight of his old nokia phone. he swore lily was on the verge of passing out. it's alright though, he doesn't really need a phone for anything. he can easily contact his parents with this phone— plus, he also has to save for lisa's college fund and spending a couple thousand won for a phone isn't really fit for him and his salary.

he purses his lip, fiddling with his fingers. ten watches the hairdressers apply some white stuff on johnny's hair before putting a shower cap on top of his head.

ten remembers when he used to dye his hair as a teen. it was something he did just because of putr curiousity and ten cringes at how he thought he was everyone's dream man at 15 with bright red highlights in his hair that was pushed up with gel every single day in highschool.

he shudders at the haunting memories, choosing to move his attention back to johnny who sat in the chair, typing away on his phone.

he chuckles when he presses on someone's number and they suddenly answer to reveal two familiar chubby looking babies that ten knows all too well.

"hi papa!!" he hears donghyuck greet, moving his face a bit too close to the camera. ten giggles at his cuteness. yangyang pushes him out of the frame to greet his dad as well.

"papa why do you have a jelly fish on your head?" yangyang asks and ten can imagine the confused look that yangyang is making; one eye brow raised with his head tilted to the side.

johnny chuckles, already itching to go home so he can play with his kids.

"it's a surprise, cub! you'll see it when we get home." he says, smiling into the camera. "papa– is-is uncle ten there?" donghyuck asks, big round eyes popping into view making yangyang giggle. the alpha smiles. "yes, uncle ten is here. do you want to talk to him?"
