"should we invite people for christmas?" ten asks him over breakfast. they're all sat at the dining table, eating breakfast while conversing with one another peacefully.

christmas wasn't until later in two weeks, so they had time to prepare. johnny hums, open to the idea. "well, how about you girls? got any holiday plans?" johnny asks the maids who were nodding. joy was first to speak up. "me and sungjae are visiting his family for christmas," he says, sipping some orange juice.

mina tells them that she'll head back to japan to visit her grandmother and yeri does the same, heading to england to see her parents again. "i'll stay here with irene," seulgi says. johnny nods at that. "how about you cookie?" he turns to his mate who finished his oatmeal.

"i'll see if my family can come here for christmas," he tells him. johnny plans on inviting his parents from chicago, having not spent a christmas with them in three years. they have yet to see the kids all grown up as well, including winter who's a young lady now.

"does that mean we can see khun yaai and khun dtaa again?" yangyang asks, spitting out a bit of his cereal as he spoke. ten chuckles, wiping away the remnants of chew food off his chin with a napkin. "yes, little sheep, you can see them again," ten replies, brushing the older twin's straight hair back.

"will grandma and grandpa be here too, papa?" donghyuck asks johnny, with curious, puppy eyes. johnny shrugs, pinching his cheek. "i'm not sure, cub— but i'm sure they will," he replies.

ten had planned to invite their friends over for christmas too, until he found out that most of them are either traveling out of the country like lucas and jungwoo or hendery and xiaojun for christmas, while the others went to their home country like sicheng and yuta who plan on going to japan to see the latter's parents, and plan on staying at home to relax and spend time with their family like jaehyun and taeyong, kun and hansol, and taeil and doyoung.

it's alright though, since ten had only asked incase any of them felt lonely (which was stupid).

now, he's at ikea with johnny, looking for some christmas decorations.

"so, you're telling me that you threw out all of your old christmas decorations? but why?" ten asks the alpha, passing through the sliding doors of ikea. johnny nods, pursing his lips. "they were old, and we used to usually just go out and eat on christmas day, buy some gifts and that was it. nothing special," johnny shrugs, seeming unbothered.

ten frowns at that. "was it because of your struggles?" he softly asks and then johnny just huffs, nodding. that makes his heart pang in his chest. "okay. well, we can make christmas enjoyable for all of us this year then!" ten exclaims, picking up one of ikea's tote bags from it's holder.

johnny smiles at that, intertwining his hands with the omega's smaller ones. "let's go find some trees then," he laughs, letting ten drag him along the walk ways of ikea.

"baby, look! pandas!" ten points at the shelf of little panda plushies, eyes twinkling like a little kid. the alpha hums, picking one up since ten couldn't reach it even when he stood on his tip-toes. he hands it to the omega who gives it an experimental squish.

"this guy's soft," ten mutters, squishing the plushie even more. "let's get another one so that the twins don't fight over it," the omega tells him. johnny is quick to move, grabbing another panda plushie from the high shelf. ten stuffs them both in the tote bag that hung on his shoulder.

while they moved around, ten had started craving coffee, so they had to go to the ground level to get some. surprisingly, some people recognized ten from his tv star days and even got a picture with him, happy that he's grown up well and has a family now. that was probably the highlight of ten's day, save for johnny mocking him about singing justin beiber's songs.
