"taeyong is a horrible drunk," jungwoo says when they walk around the store, looking at the shelves filled with bread and spreads.

kun laughs, plopping in three loaves of bread knowing that taeil will probably make sandwiches for the kids. "as if we didn't already know that," he says. taeyong makes a a sound of offense behind him.

"i am not!" he defends. "remember the time we went wine tasting and you fuckin' got drunk after a glass?" doyoung butts in, tossing in two bottles of ketchup and mustard in the cart. ten raises a brow at that.

"woah woah woah. taeyong got drunk from one glass of wine?" he asks in disbelief. kun, xiaojun, doyoung, jungwoo, yuta and lucas nodded simultaneously which made taeyong gasp in disbelief. "you traitors!" he fake cried.

"hyung, we literally have seen you get drunk over one glass of beer. it isn't exactly a hidden fact," lucas snorts, grabbing a box of graham crackers from the top shelf so kun can make his amazing cheesecakes.

taeyong pouts at that, lacing his arms with ten's. "wait— why are we even talking about me being a lightweight, anyway?" he asks, wondering how his name got dragged into a conversation about food.

"nothing really. i just remembered how much of a lightweight you are," jungwoo gives him a shit eating grin. he's lucky taeyong loves him like his own son. "speaking of, do you drink, ten?" yuta asks. the thai looks at him with a questioning look.

"i'm literally pregnant, what do you expect me to say?" he retorts sassily. "i mean before johnny put a baby in you," the japanese corrects himself.

ten laughs. "i guess i do drink, but i don't do it often since i literally have to watch my kids and i don't think they would like to see me shit faced," the only times he's had a drink or two was when they were back at the beach house from months ago. after that, he's been alcohol-free. :)

"what's your go-to drink?" jungwoo butts in, seeming interested in the conversation. "any light beer," ten replies simply as they stroll down the snacks aisle, letting lucas pick out whatever snacks they like. "stop harassing him with questions about alcohol you freaks," doyoung tugs at both their ears, earning a childish whine from both adults.

the others laugh, watching jungwoo hide behind lucas who was completely clueless about everything while he dropped the third bag of potato chips in the car. "i should've brought sicheng with me," yuta cries.

"oh man up. kun and ten are pregnant but you don't see them looking for their mates," doyoung says which makes yuta glare at him. the two are moved to the back where they endlessly bicker about the most random things ever.

"do you have any plans to host a baby shower, kun?" taeyong asks. the chinese shrugs, looking up from the grocery list he held inbetween his index and middle finger. "probably, but my dad would go ham about it once he finds out," he internally groans.

suho has always been someone who wants things to be perfect to an absolute t, as kun said. when him and hansol got married, his dad had fussed about how the cake was supposed to be lemon flavored even though no one in the family would even dare to eat that type of cake (except for hansol maybe so he can impress his inlaws).

taeyong laughs at that. "i get you. jaehyun's siblings all went over the top for christmas." the jung siblings were a force you couldn't beat. oldest brother yunho jung, a well known boxer, sisters jessica and krystal jung who were both models and company owners for clothing brands and jaehyun jung, an a successful music producer and an amazing husband.
