Beautifully Dangerous (Technoblade x OC [Azalea])

Chapter 21:

Azalea's P.O.V

I sat on my branch, listening to the outside world. It had been a while since I had done this. Ranboo was asleep on his branch, using my cloak as a pillow. I had taken out my sharpening stone and was quietly sharpening my axe, since it dulled from the extensive use yesterday.

I heard a branch snap from down below and my head snapped down. I searched the ground, trying really hard to see whoever was out there. Luckily, enderman had night vision and that was one of the traits that got passed on to me. 

I quickly spotted the figure. It was definitely male. It looked like was wearing a headset, with 3d glasses, but I couldn't be sure. Before I could get a good look at him, he walked away, saying something that I couldn't quite make out. 

I leaned back on my branch and continued to sharpen my axe. I looked up at the moon that was slowly descending, signifying that morning was coming. I continued to sharpen my axe, while letting my thoughts wander. Bad decision. 

The voices started to talk inside my head again, arguing on what I should do. They wanted me to go find the guards and kill them all, but they knew that I would never do that. I just sat there listening to the voices while sharpening my axe. It was really boring. 

I heard Ranboo mutter something and looked over at him. His eyebrows were furrowed in confusion and pain. I was tempted to wake him up, but I didn't want him to be mad at me.

"Don't go...." he said, turning around so his back was now facing me. I looked at him, then shrugged. 

"Tubbo..... Tubbo, where's Michael?" He said, turning back around. Who the heck is Michael? Ranboo breath starts to quicken, and I get a bit worried. He was starting to toss and turn a lot, making me really nervous about him falling off of his branch. His eye brows furrowed in pain and worry. That's when I drew the line.

"Ranboo. Ranboo, wake up!" I  said, carefully balancing so I don't fall down the tree. I shake his shoulders, trying to wake him up.

"WHAT!" Ranboo yells, sitting up abruptly, his eyes shooting up in alert. He calmed when he saw it was me. His breathing went back to normal, and the fear in his eyes quickly left. 

"Ranboo, are you ok? You were tossing and turning and muttering in your sleep. Did you have a nightmare?" I asked. When we were younger and shared a bedroom, I used to wake up to him having nightmares. I guess that it has stuck with him through the years.

He nods, and slowly curls up into a ball, resting his head on his arms that tightly clutched his legs to his chest. I sighed and patted his back. I sat next to him and rubbed his back, trying to comfort him. Eventually, he unfurled himself and took a deep breath.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked. He sighs, and slowly nods, putting his head on my shoulder. I put my head on his as he began to talk.

"I imagined that I was back at Tubbo and I's place called Snowchester. I walked into our mansion to find that Tubbo had a bunch of suitcases and bags next to him. He looked me dead on the eyes. All I could see was hate and disgust."

"I asked what's wrong and he just said, 'You know what you did.' He then grabbed a backpack, and a suitcase, and walked right past me. I pleaded for him not to go. I told him that I don't remember what I did, but I was sorry for it. He just scoffed at this. He told me that I should tell that to Michael and not him." I was kind of worried that my brother hadn't told me he shared a mansion with Tubbo in a place called Snowchester. 

"Who's Michael?" I asked, very curious.

"He's our adopted son." Ranboo explained, though he hesitated before telling me. I gasped and stared at him, shocked. He adopted a son with Tubbo, and didn't think to tell anyone about him?! What the hell?
