Beautifully Dangerous (Technoblade x OC [Azalea])

Chapter 55: Part One

Azalea's P.O.V

The snow crunching under my boots, I made my way towards them, having a steady grip on my axe. Owen was scouting how far away they were, while I made my way to Skeleton rock. Named that because it was a milky white, and at night, Skeletons would hang around it. 

I sat on the rock, and started to sharpen my axe. Storm took his siblings, and spread them around the woods, surrounding the area, while Owen was soaring up high. My ears caught the sound of footsteps coming through the woods, and I waited. This was surely going to be a surprise. 

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw one figure come out into the clearing. I looked up just a tad, and saw that it was Techno. His pink hair was now cut short, and his red cape was a little more torn now. His crown still gleamed on top of his head, and he still had that skull for a mask.

I stopped sharpening my axe, and lifted my head towards him. I really wanted to run towards him, but I knew I couldn't. He was finally happy without me, so why would I ruin it? He took a step towards me, and growls sounded throughout the clearing.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I said.

Technoblade's P.O.V

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." They said. I froze. It was her. It was really her.

I looked over at her, sitting on the rock, and didn't recognize her. When I last saw her, she was a strong, energetic female. Now, she looked broken, sad, and emotionless. She looked like I did before I met her, when Whirlwind went missing. 

"Z-zia?" I called out. She hummed as an answer. I knew it. "Zia, please come home with me. Please-"

"No." I was shocked. No?

"Why?"

"You said it yourself. I was dead. So I decided to stay dead. Plus, you were happier without me. I don't understand why you're here right now, but you need to leave. Now. Before I regret my decision." She whisper at the end of it. I had a feeling I wasn't supposed to hear that, but I did.

I took another step forward, and suddenly four wolves jumped out of the trees, surrounding me and growling. I gulped and took a surprised step back. How the heck does she have four wolves. I looked up and saw her sizing me up.

"Meet my pups. The black one's Storm, he's the leader. The white one's Cleveland, red one Redtail, and the brown Charlie. Doe is back home right now. And Owen is up in the sky." She said simply, standing up, and studying her axe.

"Zia, please."

"No, Techno. You don't understand!" She yelled at me. I was shocked. "You don't understand what it's like to be in my position!"

"I killed my parents at age 10! Age 10, Techno! I orphaned myself and Ranboo! Then, I was imprisoned in a circus for 2 years after that, before I finally escaped. Then, I had an episode, and almost wiped out an entire village! Age 13, I went back to L'manberg, only to find out that the people still remembered me, and started to blame me for the disappearance of the prince! So I was back on the run again!"

"2 years passed, and I had traveled all over the place, making a name for myself! I was known as the Killer Goddess for the longest time because of my episodes! Age 16, I was found by the mountain men. They gave me a home for up to two years, before Dream snapped! Which I found out why..." I gulped. How the hell could she have found out.

"Zia, I don't know what you are talking about-"

"You and Dream were best friends. For the longest time. Then something happened. Dream offered you a position beside him, for you both to conquer this land. To make everyone bow beneath you. You didn't like that idea, at all. Dream got mad, and you turned you're back, and that's when he attacked you out of pure anger. You defended yourself, and beat Dream in a 1v1. He came home, and started acting completely different because he didn't have his best friend by his side."

I stared at her in shock. How the hell did she know that?

"It only gets better from there. After running away from the mountain, the Circus I was at found me again. They tried to take me again, but I fought them off, but barely made it out of there with my life. I ran over the mountains, and Tommy found me. He was the last person I wanted to find."

"Tommy was the sweetest, most careless boy, and for him to become caring, and loyal and patient with me was great. But it cost him so much. So, I decided to let him live his life, and tried to get out. I built myself a second home, one that he didn't know about. I was planning on moving there soon, when you found out about me."

"That was the first episode that I had in 5 months. Next thing I know, I'm now living 8 other people that I just met. I was confused. Upset, even. Then I found my brother and Nikki. My thoughts got even more jumbled."

"I think falling in love with you was the most confusing thing that has ever happened to me." I was stunned. "I didn't know how to think, didn't know what to do. It was all new to me. I didn't even know I was capable of love. I didn't even know that people loved me..."

"Through all my life, I have always been told the same things over and over again: You are a monster, and no one will love you. I believed it. I believed it when anyone would say it, because I knew it was true."

"Then I meet  you. I was a stranger to you, and you treated me like family. You and your family treated me like an equal to them. I was never treated that way. I was lower than everyone else because of what I looked like. Yet you treated me equally. That's another thing that confused me."

I was watching Zia talk about her life, my concern for her growing. At this point, she was looking down at her axe, and I could tell that she was close to crying. I think her wolves knew it too, because they backed off and were watching her in concern.

My ear flicked, and I knew that Phil and the others were close. I slowly turned around and saw Phil enter the tree line. I signaled for him to stop, and he did. I could tell that he wanted to run to her and hug her, but I knew that wasn't an option right now.

I took a deep breath, and turned back to her. I was praying that this didn't get me killed. I took a step forward. I hesitated, waiting for the dogs to attack, but they never did. So I took another step.

I kept walking closer to her, but her dogs never attacked me. They just stayed on the sidelines. They must've known that I could help her. Soon enough, I reached the top of the boulder, where she was at. She didn't even know I was there. 

I heard quiet sniffles come from her, and my heart broke. Without even thinking, I wrapped my arms around her and brought her close to me. I didn't care about whatever she did, I just wanted her with me. Now and forever. 

I felt her tense for a second, but I didn't care. I just wanted her back. And it seems that she wanted me back as well.

She relaxed into it, and I felt her head hit my chest. I smiled and hugged her even tighter. She wrapped her arms around me, and we both just stood there, embracing each other. God, I missed this. I missed her. 

We stood there for I don't know how long, but it was nice. I enjoyed hugging her. I heard a twig crack behind me, and I felt her tense up. I turned my head and saw Tommy and Ranboo slowly making their way towards us, Zia's wolves growling at them. 

I unwrapped my arms around her and moved out of the way, so she could see who was there. I think she was shocked. As soon as she saw her brother, she took off running towards him. I watched as the two ran towards each other, before crashing together in the middle. I smiled, and watched the two siblings reunite.
