Beautifully Dangerous (Technoblade x OC [Azalea])

Chapter 28:

Azalea's P.O.V

Today is the day. For the last couple of days, everyone has been talking about a day where we never put down our swords (I gave them that idea, the voices want violence). So finally, after about 75 hours straight of begging Phil, he finally agreed to let us have this day.

I jumped up at the crack of dawn, and immediately started sharpening my sword. I didn't want it to be dull for today's activities. I was really excited. So, what's going to happen today is that we would go on a early morning hunt, the first person with 10 pieces of meat wins. Then, we immediately go into archery, where everyone who isn't shooting is eating lunch. Then the afternoon is filled with 1 vs 1 wooden sword combat, and then we all finish it off with everyone vs everyone, winner gets first pick of food, which will be cooked by nikki because she doesn't like to fight. Phil is referee, so he isn't participating either. After dinner, is hide and seek, where you have to fight to survive. God, today was going to be fun

Techno let me reach out to Bad and Skeppy to see if they wanted to join in, and they said yes almost immediately, so we will be picking them up around 7. The hunted started at 8. It was currently 5:45. Yeah, I know, I'm energetic, alright?

I sat down on the floor, sharpening my sword with gentle, yet sure strokes, letting the voices talk amongst themselves. Ever since that night when Techno and I admitted that we liked each other, they had been a lot more bearable, to the point where I enjoyed their talking. It was strange, but I liked it anyways. 

They were just arguing on which meat is better, pork or steak, when I heard a floorboard creak from above my head. I stood up, and slowly walked towards my door, listening out into the hallway. I heard the soft sound of feet pattering outside, before a soft knock was thrown against my door. I opened it, and saw Techno standing there, still in his pajamas ( basketball shorts and a hoodie).

I smiled, and let him walk in, closing the door behind him. He plopped down on my bed, while I went back over to my sword, and resumed sharpening it. 

"Ziiaaaaaa....." Techno wined. I looked at him, and saw that he had the most adorable pout on his face. I laughed quietly.

"What's up, Techno?" I asked him, still sharpening my sword.

"Stop sharpening the god damn sword and come cuddle with me...." He said. I sighed and shook my head, chuckling at his clinginess. It was honestly adorable. I set down my sword and walked over to him, plopping down right next to him. He hummed, before tackling me onto my bed with his arms.

He was now laying on top of me(not in a weird way). while I messed with his hair, humming softly. It honestly surprised me that his hair was this soft and silky and long, god, he had the longest hair I had ever seen on a boy. Sometimes, he would let me mess around with it, lulling him into sleep, it was actually quite funny. 

We layed their for about a good 30 minutes, Techno almost fast asleep, when I heard another set of footsteps from above, and soft chattering coming from the kitchen. I sighed, and gently shook Techno awake. He grunted in response, and tightened his hold on me, making me laugh.

"Techno, we have to get up now. We still have to get Skeppy and Bad, and the hunt starts soon." I say gently to him. He groaned, but let go of me and got up. I watched as he walked out of my room, and closed the door behind him. I leaped up and ran towards my closet, needing to get dressed. 

I quickly threw on long-sleeve white button up, and a brown corset on over it. I changed into black pants, and pulled on my knee-high black boots with red outlining, lacing them up really quick. I took a quick glance in the mirror, and decided to do something about my hair. I grabbed a brush, and some rope, since my hair was incredibly thick that it would break any ponytails I had on me. 

After I threw my hair into a messy bun, I quickly grabbed my mask, the swords sheath, and my quiver of arrows. I sheathed my sword, and walked out of my room, promising that I would be back for my axe (after I sharpen in).

I walked into the kitchen to see that everyone was already there, gathered around the table eating a frittata. I smiled, and took my usual place between Ranboo and Techno, grabbing some food myself. We finished breakfast quite quickly, and Phil, Techno, and I ran out the door, going to pick up Bad and Skeppy. Both me and Techno had our masks on. We got to the gates of L'manberg, and immediately spotted them. We all went back home, Skeppy telling us all jokes that made everyone, including Techno, wheeze. So far, the day was amazing. 

We got back and found out that nobody had changed yet. I sighed, but wandered up to my room as Phil, Techno, Skeppy, and Bad all talked in the kitchen. I grabbed my axe, and sharpened it, listening to the conversations going on around the house. Ranboo was complaining because Tubbo couldn't find his sword, Tommy was trying to break into Techno's room for the axe of peace, which was already strapped to Techno's back.

Wilbur was telling Nikki that everything was going to be alright as he threw on his trenchcoat. I heard more doors slam shut, and everyone was gathering in the kitchen. I sighed, and slipped my mask back on, getting up and strapping my axe on my back, along with my bow. I threw on my cloak over it as well, I never left anywhere without it. I secretly put my potion bag in the inside pocket of my cloak, then walked out of my room, closing the door behind me.

I made my way downstairs, seeing everyone gathered in the living room. I stood by the stairs, watching as Phil got up to explain everything to everyone once more.

"So first, there will be a hunting challenge. The first person to make it back here with 10 pieces of meat, does not have to be from the same animal, wins and gets to pick what the loser has to eat for lunch."

"Then, afterwards, we will be doing an archery contest. 4 people will be shooting 5 times, while the others eat. After archery, we will be doing combat, but with wooden swords because we don't want anyone to get hurt. There will be two fights going on at one time, one with swords, the other just hand to hand combat."

"Then, after that, we will have an everyone vs everyone game, and the winner gets first pick for dinner. After dinner, there will be an intense game of hide and seek. I will explain those rules once it comes up. Nikki nor I will be part-taking in any of these events, since Nikki needs to clean and I need to supervise. Any questions?" Phil finished, looking at everyone. Everybody was so excited to be doing this. I am sooo glad we finally convinced Phil.

Phil grinned at us, before beckoning us outside. 

"Remember, you can not partner up for this, and no stealing each other's kills, got it? Whoever kills the animal gets it. Are you all ready?" Phil asked. Everyone replied with yes, and Phil held up his hand. I got into a running stance, grabbing my bow from behind my back. I already had a strategy about where to get everything.

"On your marks."

"Get set!"

"GO!"

AYUP!!! I am not completely lost anymore, and now I have, like, three more chapters that I can write with ease now! How are you guys liking (insertshipname cuz idk) fluff so far? I'm gonna really try and emphasis how much they like each other in the next couple of chapters, before shit goes down.
