Andrea woke up to the blaring sound of her alarm. Shutting it off quickly she didn't remember putting it so loud. Brushing it off she hastily grabbed a white blouse with semi-professional looking pants. Tying her hair up into a messy bun she felt ready to start the day. Clattering sounds of her pens when put into her small bag and battering sounds of Andrea placing her binders near. Swiftly, she grabbed a granola bar as usual along with her chain. Keeping it in hand she walked towards the door.
Primarily, she heard lots of pandemonium coming from outside, taking that as a warning she revealed the blade only slightly. Shut up! We have to catch her by surprise! Andrea heard from the inside. Catch by surprise... revealing the blade in her grasp just slightly more she twisted the knobble.
Cracking the door open the place was unlightened, only the dawn light showed the littlest bit. "Hello? Anyone here?" Andrea whispered, leisurely stepping out of her apartment. She kept the blade ready; yet turned on her flashlight. The birds were chirping and the creaking of the floor only made it seem more frightening. I heard someone, but who? Andrea looked over the pillars and around the corners, no one.
Andrea just started to gingerly step back to her dorm, and heard fracturing reverberates right behind her. Someone is following me... Andrea tried to walk slightly faster and the squeaking steadily stopped. Sighing with relief Andrea opened the door to see Asher awake and heard people yelling behind her. "Surprise!" everyone shouted.
Andrea shrieked out of revelation and stumbled, losing grip of her chain. The blade was still visible and Andrea's arm landed right on it. "Shoot!" Andrea screamed, seeing that the blade went through her skin. The gash was bleeding out, and no one had perceived it yet. Andrea shut her eyes and took a gaping breath, that is when everyone heard, she wasn't ok. "Mom grab your phone!" a voice said while a light shined.
There, Andrea detected the Marons, Lucas, Ava, and Diego all there. "Andrea, come on let's get you inside" Janet said, helping Andrea to her feet. Andrea couldn't utter anything, the aching was filling her body. Andrea felt herself being seated on her couch and someone next to her. They leaned down and whispered into her ear, "It's going to be ok" it was Lucas. Andrea just nodded her head and opened her eyes. Everyone was around her.
Janet had grabbed a wet cloth and placed it on her scab, Andrea whimpered. "Sorry darling, but I have to clean it, and wrap it up," Janet said. After a little bit the bleeding had slightly ended and Janet was bundling it up. "Sorry Andrea, we just wanted to surprise you, but why are you in such formal clothing?" Diego asked. Andrea didn't answer, she was trying to help herself with the pain. A tight grip on her shoulder Lucas shaked her slightly. Andrea looked up with a glare, not purposely, her resting face was never pretty. "Darling, we just want to know why you are in that type of clothing," Lucas said. "I'm not mad, that's my resting face. It's because I have to go to work" Andrea told them all.
Their jaws dropped, while Andrea just chuckled. Janet finished wrapping her elbow and Andrea thanked her. Laying down on her dark brown couch she sighed. "There is no way you are working," Ava said, stealing her phone. Andrea just rolled her eyes and decided to not even deal with them. "Well turns out your manager knew and wasn't allowing you to go either way" Ava said tossing her phone back.
Andrea clenched her phone and just placed it on her lap, "I haven't done anything for my birthday in 8 years, who cares?" Andrea said. Taking Andrea by her arm they brought her outside. It was 8 in the morning by that time. Birds were flying up above, the blue sky was showing its face, the sun was beaming down at them. The rustic hotel's flowers were blooming by the windows. While Andrea was still in her clothing.
Ava quickly tossed Andrea ripped, light colored shorts with a graphic cropped t-shirt. "Change in the car we won't look, come on" Ava said pulling her once again. Throwing her into the car, it was massive, the owners were the Maron's. Quickly while everyone wasn't looking she changed into the outfit. "Is anyone going to tell me where we are going?" Andrea asked, who was sitting in the 4th row and pulled herself to the front.
