It was nearing the end of September and school was busy. There was minimal time when they got to spend it with each other. The three were always sundered because of their dorms and only chatted if they had a question about the homework.

Some nights became endless and they would all be finished with their homework at the darkest of times. The school let all years have a school catch up day one Friday each month. Today was the day and the three all gladly took advantage unlike last year. They hoped to get the weekend to finally relax and have an unstressed couple of days.

Andrea was working on her fears homework in the afternoon, it was a class she had for dueling and to use their opponents worse fears against them. This class many struggled in, counting Andrea. Even though she fights as a defender, dueling wasn't on her side. She would practice with Ava or Diego and they have helped her understand throughout the entire month. Fears was the only thing she was good at.

Dueling spells were hard to conjure up, and many people struggled and were told this class wasn't going to be easy. Andrea was surprisingly one of the top students despite her stumbles, she was lucky to have Diego and Ava.

This was the last bit of homework she had until all of her homework would be done for the week. Meaning she would get the next two days off. Andrea had woken up early in the morning to complete all of her homework because it was no use to postpone it.

9 hours of work for 8 classes, if only the classes didn't give as much homework, many would've be done already. I can't bother about that now, let's just finish dueling homework and my brain could finally rest. Gosh this is harder than work... Andrea said to herself and continued to work on her studies.

None of them had talked to each other this entire week due to it being one of their toughest. It was piles and piles of homework that would all just make the deadline. They would keep on working on the mounds of pages they were given weekly.

Andrea worked in sweatpants and a cropped shirt to keep herself comfortable and was finalizing all the work they were given from Thursday. She placed them in a neat pile and plopped down on her bed.

Thank goodness all that work is over... felt like it was never going to end Andrea pondered and sat up on her bed and scrolled through her phone.

Andrea laid down on her bed scrolling through her phone when she heard a knock at the door. They quickly banged at the door and Andrea stood up and opened it. She saw Ryker standing there looking anxious, "Ryker what's wrong?". Ryker looked at her concerned, "It's Asher, like all of us we struggle with dueling and he is asking for you".

Andrea looked at him disoriented, she didn't know why he was asking for her. "Why is he asking for me? If he struggles why not ask the teacher?" Andrea said and was about to close the door until Ryker placed his arm in opening it again.

"Look we both finished our work, he hasn't and it just got to him" Ryker said in a rush and inhaled deeply. Andrea quickly grabbed her phone from the bed and looked at Ryker again, "Got to him? What do you mean by that?". Ryker groaned and put his hands over his face out of frustration.

"I went out of the bathroom and walked into his room to see his hyperventilating because the stress overcame him. We all know this year is hard and when I tried to calm him down he just asked for you ok? Can you please help him" Ryker said rapidly once again.

Andrea's eyes widen and shoved Ryker out of the way, "Could've said that in the first place. I'll talk or text you soon".

Andrea walked over to Asher's room and listened in to hear him breathing abnormally and quiet sobs. Andrea carefully opened the door not to startle him and saw him leaning over his desk. Tears on his sheet and his hands tugging at his hair. Andrea looked at him helpless but planned to assist him the best way she could.
