A Missing Ring

At the Hospital... Once Again

Finch, Asher, Ryker, Astra, Diego, and Lucas all rushed in. Diego carried Andrea in, as Lucas carried Ava. "Nurse Maximon! I know it's early but we need your help!" Finch yelled, as they awaited for someone to come rushing in.

They remained while Diego looked down, "Still hanging in there Andrea?". She nodded her head, as he could only smile. Happy that one person will stay with them. Asher and Ryker looked over, Diego nodded his head and they sighed. "That's good, we don't need to be worrying about anyone else, seeing she is awake might just mean she isn't as hurt" Ryker assumed.

"False, you shouldn't think just because she is awake means she isn't in critical condition. It may not end up being as bad, but her wounds are still rough and the forbidden floor is freezing, chances of hypothermia are high. As we should all prepare for the results of her injuries. Believe me, we all want to believe she is ok, but it is still debatable" Finch spoke as he looked from Ryker to Andrea.

Soon Nurse Maximon rushed in, frantic he saw Ava and Andrea being carried. "Gosh what has happened? Andrea- is that her, she's been gone this entire week" Nurse Maximon was shocked to see her back. "Yes, Andrea is back as they had a plan" Finch replied to reassure him everything was real.

Nurse Maximon exhaled with a smile on his face, happy to see Andrea back, but soon his smile dropped at the glimpse of Ava. Finch saw what he was looking at, and he nodded his head. Nurse Maximon seemed worried for Ava and Andrea, Ava had passed, and Andrea needed medical assistance fast. He had heard about their relationship, how close they were, and were now both being carried in.

"Finch, is there anything you can tell me about their conditions? At least what you know of" Nurse Maximon asked, as Finch told.

"Andrea from what we know has been tortured and tormented this past week. She is vulnerable, so we haven't been able to learn much about what they did to her. All we know is that she was bleeding quite a bit, and her energy was drained from it. There are some places we don't know if she is bleeding out. Ava was hit by the killing curse, they had only decided to bring her along... to break the news to Andrea" it broke Finch's heart to say that, as it also broke Maximon's.

"Thank you for telling me what you could, Diego please follow me. Lucas, I'll grab you in just a second" instructed Nurse Maximon.

Diego followed the nurse into the back area, and into one of the rooms that would give her some privacy and to check up on her. Diego walked in behind Nurse Maximon who unlocked a room. A nice clean bed with some machineries around it. It had anything the nurse needed to take care of the patient in the best possible way.

"Here we go, you can place Andrea on the bed. I promise to take good care of her" her nurse said, patting the bed. Diego walked to the side and made Andrea let go of his neck. He softly placed Andrea on the bed, and set her arms down across her stomach.

"W-Where?" Andrea stuttered, he looked back to remember she didn't know where they were, Diego placed his hand on her cheek, "Don't worry we are at the hospital, to make you all better". She nodded her head as the nurse and Diego left the room.

They came back to the waiting area, where the rest had sat down impatiently waiting for anything. "Lucas, come with me" the nurse instructed as he did what he was told. The nurse unlocked the room right next to Andrea. The room looked parallel to Andrea's, the same machines, the same scenery.

Lucas gently placed Ava on the bed, as he went to leave he heard the nurse say something, "You can stay, I'm not going to take you away from your lover".

Asher, Ryker, Astra, Diego, and Finch were impatiently waiting for the nurse to come back, to give them some sort of news, a light of hope. "Do you guys think Andrea is going to be alright?" Astra was the first to speak, as tears pricked her eyes. "She will, she was still awake when I placed her down, she is stronger than most of us" said Diego, he was the last to see her before he had to leave the room.
