emotional intelligence can't be learned from a textbook,
or a powerpoint and lecture in a giant hall.
some of the most manipulative people i've met had the prettiest faces and so much of my trust,
that's what made it so easy for them.
there's so much a person can learn from situations if they allowed themselves to grow and understand,
but to refuse to comprehend simply because it's what you hold close to your heart, would be a disservice to you and your craft, whatever it may be.
an actor can interpret lines in a way that doesn't make sense with the text,
a doctor can encounter a condition they had never seen before and treat it wrong,
a chef can change a recipe to try something new and instead create a disaster.
you never cease to learn in your profession, if you truly love it,
just because you've studied emotional intelligence,
does not mean you have it all.
no one does.
take it from Ghost,
the ones who study something the most might just need it themselves the most.
