Chapter 4

Tuesday 13th July 2021

"Carina take a breath please" Maya said as the brunette raced to the car "No Maya I need to get out of here" Carina said continuing her quick pace "Okay okay give me your bags" Maya said grabbing the bags off her partner "Thanks" Carina said getting into the passenger seat of the car whilst Maya put her bags in the car.

"Just drop me off at the hotel near work" Carina said keeping her gaze out the window "Are you sure you want to stay in a hotel" Maya asked "Where else am I supposed to sleep Maya I just left my wife of 10 years I'm going to need a minute to sort out a new place to live" Carina said snapping at the blonde "Alright then" Maya said.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to snap at you" Carina said "It's fine" the blonde said "Look why don't you just stay at my place I have a spare room we have to share a bathroom whilst the spare one is being fixed" Maya offered "No I don't want to intrude" Carina said "Your not intruding Carina, it's late just stay at my place and you can have something to eat and a shower and get a good nights sleep" Maya said "Okay thank you Maya" Carina said.

"Alright just in here the sheets are fresh you can put your clothes away if you want, the bathroom is in my room just come in and use it whenever you need to okay" Maya said "This is very kind of you Maya" Carina said "Let me make you something to eat whilst you have a shower okay" The blonde said "Thank you" Carina said wiping a tear away.

"Wow the pressure in your shower is amazing" Carina said as she walked into the kitchen "Here I just made some pasta nice and easy" Maya said placing a bowl down at the table "Thankyou" Carina said "Okay you don't have to say thank you everytime" Maya said chuckling "Sorry" Carina said. "I might just try and go to bed" Carina said "No worriers just come and let me know if you need anything okay" Maya said "Okay goodnight Maya" the brunette said "Goodnight Carina".

Wednesday 14th July 2021

"Maya are you awake" Carina said opening the blonde's bedroom door "Yeah you okay" Maya asked "Si I can't sleep" the brunette said "Want to talk" the blonde asked "I'm sorry I didn't realise it was 2am go back to sleep" Carina said "No you're fine I wasn't asleep" Maya said sitting up "Come here" Maya added patting the spot next to her.

"Did I make a mistake leaving my wife" Carina asked staring up at the celling "Do you love her" Maya asked "Of course I love her but I'm not involve with her anymore" the brunette said "Do you mind that she cheats on you every other day" Maya asked "What of course I mind that's unforgivable" Carina answered "Then no you didn't make a mistake" Maya said.

"What about you why are you so scared to get into a relationship" Carina asked "I'm not" Maya answered "Yes you are, you just sleep with inappropriate women and men and avoid feeling your feelings" Carina said "This isn't about me" Maya said "What happened to you, why are you so traumatised" Carina asked again.

"I was cheated on" Maya admitted as the both of them laid on their backs staring at the ceiling "I was with this guy for 5 years he was a good man until he wasn't" The blonde said. "He proposed to me New Years 2017 and then I found out he was cheating on me with this girl for 3 years" Maya said "Oh Maya I'm so sorry" Carina said "Feels good to get it off my chest I have never told anyone this" The blonde admitted "I'll never tell anyone" Carina said rolling over to face the blonde.

"I heard him out and forgave him well at least that's what I told myself, then I fell pregnant with his child and in a way it fixed us like everything was left in the past but then we went to the 18 week scan and we were told there was no heart beat" Maya said taking a deep breath. "It's okay you don't have to tell me" Carina said pushing a piece of hair behind the blondes ear "No I want to just one second" Maya said working to even out her breathing.
