Chapter 22

Sunday 29th August 2021

"Teddy" Carina said through a tight lipped smile "What are you doing here oh my god" the blonde said quick to wrap the brunette in a hug "I missed you wow" Teddy said "Me too" Carina simply replied rubbing her hand up and down the blondes back "I didn't think you would be coming" Teddy said "Arizona asked" the Italian replied "Mhm and you do everything she asks don't you" the blonde said "now is not the time" Carina said "Well since it has been a while this is my husband Henry" Teddy said introducing the two "This is Carina she used to be my bestfriend" the blonde said "Nice to meet you" Carina said extending her hand "Who's the blonde" Teddy asked "This is my umm friend" Carina said "Maya" the blonde said holding her hand out to Teddy just as the music started to play through the church.

Callie walked down the aisle first her father kissing her at the altar and walking towards his wife at the front seats then Arizona began her walk down the aisle her gaze falling on Carina for a minute who in response grabbed Maya's hand and laced their fingers together. "You alright" Maya asked when everyone was asked to be seated "Si" Carina simply replied keeping there hands laced together and in the blondes lap. "Not your friend is she" Teddy whispered before the ceremony officially began "No she isn't" the Italian simply replied turning her attention back to the front.

"I do" Arizona said "I do" Callie replied "I now pronounce you wife and wife" the officiant said causing everyone in the church to clap and cheer and the now married couple to have their first kiss as a married couple. "She looks so happy" Carina said a soft smile on her face as she turned to face the blonde "She does look very happy" Maya confirmed with a slow nod of her head "Thankyou for sitting through this with me it means a lot and I know she isn't your favourite person" Carina said "Well she treated you like dirt and cheated on you so no she is not very high on my list" Maya said pressing a kiss to the Italian's cheek.

Monday 30th August 2021

"Morning Bambina" Carina smirked when the blonde opened her eyes "Morning baby" Maya said covering a yawn with her hand "Tired" the brunette asked with a smirk on her face "Mhm" the blonde hummed in reply "Wonder why" Carina said with a chuckle "You know why" Maya said playfully rolling her eyes. "I have to be at work earlier then you so we will drive separately" the blonde asked "Yeah I don't have to be in till 9 so I am going to go for a work out before work" Carina said "Okay baby I'm going to shower and get ready I will see you at work" Maya said jumping out of bed "You forgot something" Carina said "What's that" the blonde asked "Kiss me" Carina said "I haven't brushed my teeth" Maya said "Doesn't matter" the Italian said sitting up letting the blankets fall from her naked body before pulling the blonde in for a short kiss "See you at work pretty" Carina said smiling when she pulled away.

"Bishop in my office now" Bailey said as soon as the blonde sat down at her desk "Captain" Maya said confused walking in behind her captain "Sit down" the brunette said "Okay" Maya said confused taking a seat "Blake is being sentenced today" Bailey said "What" the blonde asked confused "Today at 2pm he is pleading guilty so there will be no trial I was wondering if you wanted the afternoon off to go" Bailey asked "Yes please captain that would be great thank you" Maya said "Take Carina with you" the captain said "Sorry" the blonde said confused "Carina you can take her with you, you are going to need support if it goes badly so please take her with you and let us know the outcome" Bailey said "Thank you captain" Maya said before standing up and walking back to her desk.

"I got you coffee" Carina said sitting down on the blondes desk with two take away cups of coffee "Ahh you are a life saver I haven't had any since this morning" Maya said quick to take a sip of the beverage "You know you don't have to bring me coffee every day" the blonde said "I know I don't but I want to" the brunette replied "I would kiss you but" Maya said using her hand to gesture to everyone around them "Mhm later" Carina said with a wink before walking to her desk across form the blonde.
