Day 14: Gender fluid pride

Atsushi and Akutagawa were preparing for a date. It was the first one they've had in a while, so it was quite special. Akutagawa was already ready, standing in the living room waiting for his partner.

Meanwhile, Atsushi was in their bedroom, facing a problem; what to wear. Now, to any other person, this was a small, easily fixable problem. But for Atsushi, this was a cause for a lot of. Atsushi is gender fluid, and some days they didn't know what they felt. Are they masculine today, or feminine? Atsushi pulled out a simple dress shirt and pants, trying it on and turning to the mirror.

"I am a boy today." He said to himself, instantly cringing. Nope, no they weren't. Not today. They sighed. "I'll be out in a minute!" They called out to their boyfriend. They then went to their closet and pulled out a pretty white and black dress and black shoes. They put it on, zipping up the back, and turned back to the mirror.

Another deep breath. "I'm a girl." She smiled. Yes she was. She was a girl today. Finally happy, she skipped out to the living room, where Akutagawa was waiting for her.

Akutagawa looked up at his girlfriend, smiling. "Hi, sweetie. Are you ready?"

"Mhm!"

The ravenette went to hug her. "You look beautiful, flower~" Akutagawa's voice was soft like silk. "Such a pretty girl~"

A rush of euphoria washed over Atsushi, making her body shiver with happiness. She smiled, snuggling into Akutagawa's touch. "I love you, Ryuu~"

"I love you too. Now, let's get going or we'll be late." Akutagawa took Atsushi's hand in his and headed out the door. They drove to a secluded spot that overlooked Yokohama. The car parked and they set about setting up a picnic blanket and setting out the food.

"This is so pretty!" Atsushi's eyes sparkled, her smile brightening Akutagawa's already happy mood.

"I'm glad you like it." Akutagawa wrapped his arms around her, kissing her cheek. "I set it all up when you were at work."

"Aww that's so sweet~!" Atsushi hugged the man, her eyes looking up at him. "I love you!" She exclaimed excitedly.

Akutagawa smiled. He situated her on his lap and peppered her neck with kisses. He loved her, even when she wasn't a her. He loved them for who they were.
