chapter 28

Day 28: Double date
(Soukoku and Shin Soukoku)

                     𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣😎

𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙣😎: Me and chibi are on our way! Don't be late! :D

𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙝𝙞 𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙡🍣: We're almost done getting ready. We'll be there soon.

"Aku! Are you almost ready?" Atsushi called out, while fixing his collar for the fifth time in five minutes.

"Yeah, I'm just getting my shoes on. Be right there." And sure enough, Akutagawa was out a minute later.
"Are we late?"

"No, Dazai and Chuuya are on their way. We should hopefully get their at the same time. Can you help me with my collar? It's being annoying.."

"Sure." Pale hands worked on the button, straightening it out and making sure it wasn't wrinkled. Once done, he stood back, smiling softly. "There. All better."

Atsushi looked in the mirror, also smiling. "Thanks!"

A ghost of a smile graced Akutagawa's lips, but he covered it with a cough. "You're welcome. Now, let's go. I don't want Chuuya yelling at us for being late."

Atsushi giggled. "Yeah." The two headed out, making sure to lock the door before heading down town to a local cafe. Time wasn't too busy, so it was easy to spot Dazai and Chuuya, especially given Dazai's height. The two walked over, Atsushi saying hello immediately. "Hi Dazai! Chuuya! How are you two?" Atsushi sat down, Akutagawa sitting beside him.

"Oh, we're good, Atsushi. It's been a while since we saw you guys, so we thought this was a good idea."

"Mm.. I see. Yeah, me and Ryuu meant to go on a date, and we also wanted to see you, so I guess it worked out." Atsushi smiled, holding Akutagawa's pinky in his.

"Hm, that's cute~ Oh! I should probably order. Coffee?"

"Yes please!" Akutagawa nodded.

"Alright! I'll be right back." Dazai stood up and went to order their stuff.

After a few moments of silence, Chuuya cleared his throat. "So, how are you two doing? The relationship still working? You're not annoying each other?"

"No! We're doing great!" Atsushi hugged Akutagawa from the side, Akutagawa blushing.

Chuuya smiled. '𝘍𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘈𝘬𝘶𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘸𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘪𝘮..'

"I'm baack!" Dazai sang, sitting down and handing out the coffee. The rest of the afternoon was full of small conversations, kisses, and a lot of love. After the cafe, they all went to go watch the sunset.

"Ooh! Look Chibi! It looks so pretty!" Dazai hugged his husband from behind, eyes sparkling up at the sky. Chuuya smiled, and looked over at the other couple. It was almost a mirror image, Akutagawa looking gently up at the sky, and Atsushi looking softly at him, pinky to pinky.

It was a good time.
