chapter 17

Day 17: pride-themed house decorating
(Soukoku)

Dazai was sitting on the couch, watching a movie when Chuuya marched into the room holding a large bin. "What's that?" Dazai asked.

Chuuya opened the bin, revealing an assortment of rainbow decor. "Decorations for Pride Month, since we're a but late at decorating." Chuuya said as he pulled out pride flags.

"Oh! Cool!" Dazai paused the movie and went to decorate. "So, we're late, as you said?"

"Yep." Chuuya set about hanging a large rainbow flag on the wall. "Atsushi and Akutagawa already finished, as usual with a large amount of Trans flags. And Ranpo and Poe have been done for a while now. They like to start early."

"That sounds like them." Dazai said with a chuckle and a fond smile. He was in charge of hanging all the Bisexual pride flags, since he had an abundance of them. He had a large one hung on the opposite wall of Chuuya's flag, with many mini flags around it. It looked a little chaotic, but it was great.
They spent the next few hours decorating the house, with many shenanigans in between. Once it was done, they stood back, taking in the sight.

"Think this will be enough to piss off our neighbors?" Dazai asks, making Chuuya laugh. Since they moved in, their neighbors, an elderly couple, have made it quite clear that they didn't approve of homosexual marriage. So, like the people they are, Dazai and Chuuya have made it their mission to piss them off every pride month.

"I think so. Now, time for some cheesy gay romance movies?"

Dazai smiled. "Cheesy gay romance movies." He agreed, going to the kitchen to fetch some popcorn. Chuuya popped in the movie and the two of them had a relaxing night full of warm, soft moments, completely ignoring the fact that their neighbors were yelling at them through the walls.
