The last day!

Day 30: The ADA and PM go to a pride parade together

"Dazai, I'm not letting you drive." Kunikida clicked the keys into the door. "Don't pout at me, get in the car."

Fukuzawa made sure everyone piled into the van before him and Kunikida sat in the front.
"Are we ready?" He asked, getting a nod from everyone in the car.

Yosano, Dazai, and Atsushi were sittuated in the fat back, with Kenji, Kyouka, Naomi, and Junichiro in front of them. It was quite a big vehicle, so they had plenty of room.

"Now, we're supposed to meet the Port Mafia there, and I want no funny business. We're there to have a good time, not to be the cause of crime." He said as he looked directly at Dazai.

"Why are you looking at meee~?" Dazai whined. Yosano laughed, and Dazai glared at her. "You guys are no fun.."

"You caused a ruckus at a grocery store because they ran out of the cherry slushie. You are a menace." Kunikida mumbled. Dazai stook his tongue out, but stayed quiet. The rest of the ride went by quite smoothly, apart from Dazai's occasionally banter, and Kenji's constant questions about the event. After about an hour, they finally arrived at the park, and Kunikida parked beside the limo that the Port Mafia had. "Well.. They certainly are extra.."

Kenji and Kyouka piled out of the car, pride flags in hand, and stared wide-eyed at the limo. "Woah, I've never seen a car that long.."

"Let's go, people! It's almost started!" Kunikida yelled, although he didn't really need to because everyone was within a ten foot radius. The group walked down the parking lot towards the main area, keeping an eye out for the Port Mafia.

Suddenly, Dazai started to run ahead, as well as Atsushi starting to walk a little bit faster. "What's gotten into him.." Kunikida mumbled. Atsushi started to run as well. "Seriously?? What the heck! Stop running!!" The didn't however, they continued to run. Kunikida soon realized why when they ran to hug their boyfriends.

"Ryuu~!"

"Chibi~!"

The men hugged, big and soft smiles on their faces. Chuuya and Dazai immediately went off to do their own thing, as well as the other two. Kenji and Kyouka went to get snacks with Junichiro and Ranpo, Yosano was busy buying every lesbian themed item she could find, as well as Naomi, and Kunikida and Fukuzawa stayed by a quiet area with Mori, watching the event unfold. They smiled as the occasional agency or PM member would run by, a smile on their face. And, for the first time in a long time, Dazai looked happy. He hadn't been able to see Chuuya due to missions, so this was long overdue.

Atsushi and Akutagawa headed off to get snacks, and then went to sit by a fountain, watching the parade. Atsushi happily munched on his food, his one hand intertwined with Akutagawa's. Akutagawa glanced over, smiling. He hadn't felt this happy in a long time. Whenever he was with Atsushi, something in him changed. He was calmer, more cheerful. He could get used to this.

In the end, Yosano had to stuff all of her stuff in the trunk, barely fitting. Dazai and Chuuya were almost impossible to separate, and Atsushi was crying because, he to, didn't want to leave Ryuu. The ravenette hugged him, saying that they would plan something soon.

"Shh.. Don't cry, I'll see you soon." Akutagawa wiped his tears away.

Atsushi sniffled. "Okay.. I'm sorry.." He gave the man one last hug before going to the car, following Dazai who put a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry Dazai. You're not the only one sarcasm about leaving." He smirked, glancing back at the brunette. "Chibi cried too."

"OI!! I'LL KILL YOU DAZAI!!"

The car ride was quiet, totally opposite from the ride up. Everyone was sleeping, even Ranpo, probably because he ate his body weight in snacks. Kenji and Kyouka were sleeping, heads tucked into each other, and their pride flags used as blankets. Kunikida and Fukuzawa were the only ones awake, and they had small smiles on their faces. They were proud, proud of their children for having the strength to be themselves.

"OI AKUTAGAWA DRIVE CAREFULLY!! I DON'T WANNA DIE, Y'KNOW!!" Chuuya was currently sitting in the very back of the limo, hanging on for dear life as Mori thought it was a good idea to have Ryuunosuke drive for the first time. Bad idea. According to Chuuya. According to everyone else thought, well.. They were fine. Sleeping, in fact. But not Chuuya. But anyway, the ride was relatively smooth. Apart from the occasional Chuuya screaming for his life.

But, they got home. As soon as the car stopped, Chuuya and Akutagawa bursted out the car doors, immediately going inside and going to their dorms. Mori let them, already knowing what they were doing. Everyone else went inside, and went to bed. But not Akutagawa and Chuuya.

𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙮~: yep!

𝙏𝙞𝙣𝙮™: okay. Well I have to go, baby. I'll see you Saturday. I love you, Okay?"

𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙚𝙮~: Oki! Love youu!!

Atsushi and Akutagawa, Dazai and Chuuya. Two couples falling asleep under the moonlight, promises of seeing each other again, and hope of a world where they could finally live safely together. And a world w4they hoped their friends could be safe, and love who they wanted. A world that wasn't too far away, but a world that would have to be gotten through hard work and hardships.
