Chapter 7: Polyamorous Pride
(Chuu x Dazai x Atsu x Aku)

The relationship started with just Dazai and Chuuya. Two fifteen year old traumatized kids who just needed someone to get through life together with. They were happy for the first few years, that is until Dazai left. Chuuya swore he would never let anyone into his heart ever again.
Years went by until fates alligned and the two found each other again. After months of many much needed conversations and apologies, Chuuya made the decision to finally let his heart be loved again. He left the mafia, and started working at the ADA. A few months later, he moved in with Dazai. And a few months after that, Akutagawa was saved from the mafia as well.

Akutagawa caught feelings for Chuuya when Dazai left, but never had the courage to tell him. He sat on the sidelines, watching as Chuuya eventually got over Dazai, him finally being happy, and then Dazai coming back. He watched the two tie loose ends, and become a couple. His crush never subsided, if anything it grew, and that bothered him. On top of that, he was catching feelings for Dazai. Curse his dumb heart. He was admitted into the ADA and, for the first time in his life, he finally thought he had a chance with at least one of them. He had a talk with the two of them, expecting to be rejected, but it ended with Dazai proposing this idea.

"Why don't we all date each other? Like a happy threesome!" He proposed.

Akutagawa was silent, considering the option. "B- But you don't love me. You've made that apparent throughout the years.." He mumbled quietly, head down. Chuuya lightly punched the brunette, telling him to talk and punishing him for all the hell he caused Akutagawa.

"Aku, I take full responsibility for my actions in the past. I was going through some shit, and thought it would be smart to let it out on you. All those things I said to you, forget them. You're not weak, you're very strong. I'm so sorry for how I treated you in the past." He cupped the boy's cheek. "You don't need to forgive me, but please know you did nothing wrong back then."

Tears started streaming down Akutagawa's cheeks as he buried his face in Dazai's chest. "I- I forgive you.. A- And I would like that.. I like you both.." He sobbed as two sets of arms kept him down on earth. "I- I thought I was disgusting, liking two people.. I thought you guys wouldn't like me.. Or that of would separate you two.." He couldn't keep talking, the sobs catching in his throat prevented him.

"Shh.. It's okay, let it out.." Chuuya's soft voice grounded Akutagawa as he cried.

The next day they sat in the office, officially a trio relationship. They had to have many conversations and more apologies the previous night, but they couldn't be any happier the next day.

A few months later and a new member was brought in. An eighteen year old boy with weird hair. He had apparently been rescued from an orphanage, and had his fair share of issues. A few months into the boy's career at the agency, Akutagawa started to get that feeling again. The same feeling he had with his now lovers. He obviously brushed it off at first, blaming others on the fact that the boy was new. After a while though, the feeling returned when Dazai would start to tease the boy. His reactions were cute, and Akutagawa hated it. He hated his damn emotions.
Eventually, he couldn't handle it anymore and decided to talk about with Chuuya.

"I- I think I like him.. And I don't know what to do. I don't want to scare him and I'm already with you and Dazai and-"

"Woah woah, Aku calm down, you're gonna faint." Chuuya guided the sickly man to a chair, kneeling to look up at him. "So, what you're saying is that you have a crush on Atsushi?"

"Yes! But he's new! And I feel selfish and what if he doesn't like me back and-"

"Lovey, that won't happen. Dazai's already flirting with him, which is not surprising, so you're not the only one who likes him."

"What if he gets scared??"

"He won't."

And he never did. It started with just Atsushi and Dazai dating, and then Dazai introduced the subject of having multiple partners. Surprisingly, Atsushi was completely okay with it, and him and the two others got along pretty well. Within a year, after them all getting to know each other, and bond, they started to call all of them a foursome. And, much to Akutagawa's surprise, Atsushi loved it. He loved the affection of one person, so four was even better.

And now, four years later, June, Pride Month, the four of them are married and they have a house. They celebrated their firsts with each other, loving every second of it.
