red lights flashed and the sound of alarms bounced off the walls of the laboratory.
a set of feet pattered down the hall. two young girls were clothed in torn up hospital gowns with shaven heads. they ran down the hall hand in hand.
they went into an empty room.
the one girl rose a hand up to the window, breaking its glass with her mind.
they headed for the now broken window. they perched themselves up onto the window sill and slid out with ease.
the one girl who broke the window looked back, checking if the cost was clear.
once, they were sure everything was safe.. they pulled themselves off of the ground and headed for the wooded area.
