the girls were down in the basement bathroom along with mike.
el was staring at herself in the mirror. she grazed her head, feeling weird without the wig on.
"you don't need it." mike insisted.
eve still had hers on, she believed el didn't need her wig but eve still wanted hers on. feeling insecure without it.
"still pretty?" el had asked him.
mike blushed.
"yeah! pretty. really pretty." he stammered.
silence filled the air.
"el?" mike said, a few minutes later.
el turned to him.
eve was sat on the floor, playing with her wig's hair.
it had dirt and leaves in it now, making it dirty.
she started picking out the leaves whenever she came across them, as well as the dirt trying to get it to look the way it did the first time she had put it on.
pretty and clean.
like she wanted to be.
clean of the mistakes she's made in the past and pretty like all the other girls she's seen so far like mike's sister. like her sister el.
she wished she was pretty.
sadly, it would take her a long time to finally see her true beauty.
"yes?" el answered him.
"um, i'm happy you guys are home." mike expressed to the both of them.
home. was this home? eve began to wonder.
they've never had a home before, so they had no idea what it was like.
"me, too." el agreed, watching her sister pick out leaves and dirt from her blonde wig.
she didn't even notice that mike had moved closer towards her.
the bathroom door then swung open, revealing dustin on the other side of it.
eve gasped standing up, started by his sudden presence.
"guys! it's lucas, i think he's in trouble." dustin exclaimed.
they quickly leave the bathroom and go straight for the supercomm.
"do you remember how he said he was looking for the gate?" dustin asked him.
clearly, the girls weren't there for that conversation because they were well they were very confused.
"yeah." mike said, knowing what he was talking about.
