~Madyson POV

I was laying on the bed staring at the ceiling when I heard the door open. "Let's go." Dave said standing at the top of the steps. "Where are we going?" I asked feeling my heartbeat speed up. "You do want to fucking eat don't you?" He asked. I got off the bed and went up the steps. "Go ahead of me, I don't need you trying anything."

I walked in front of him as he guided me to the kitchen. "There wasn't much in here to eat so I did what I could." He said as I looked at the two bowls of Top Ramen on the table. "I don't think I want to eat this." I said. "The fuck? You too good to eat Ramen or something?"

"No I'm just not in the mood for it."

"Well I didn't fucking ask. Now eat." He said pushing my seat out. I sat down and just stared. "What are you going to do to me?" I asked breaking the silence. "Right now? Nothing. I'll let you live until things die down with me first. I need to find another location for myself. Got someone coming over here later to help me out so with that being said, if you do anything, I'll hurt you." He said. "I don't understand why I deserve this. I didn't do anything to hurt you."

"Nah, you didn't do anything to me. You just trusted the wrong people and now you're caught up in some shit that you can't get out of. This could have all been sorted out a long time ago but you just make things worse for you everyday. Now you have to suffer." He shrugged sipping his water.

"I thought you loved me."

"God you're so fucking gullible. It's called an act Madyson. All of this was a fucking act. Meeting you at the doctor's office and flirting with you was an act and you fell right into it. I needed to get close to you for me to finish my job. I needed you to think that I still loved you. You fucked yourself over for falling for it." He said.

I couldn't say anything because he was right.

Sometime I wonder what would have happened if I never went out with him that night. If I never left Ken on that altar. I would have been happier. I would have been safe. Things would be better. "Stay right here. I got to take this." He said getting up as his phone rang. "I fucking mean it. If you move, I'll kill you." He said before walking off.

He walked down a hallway and I began to look around. Hoping I could find something. Anything to help me get out of here. From where I was sitting, there wasn't much for me to see. I needed to move. I was contemplating how I would do that without getting caught. Before I could move, he walked back into the kitchen area. "Who was that?"

"None of your damn business. Are you going to eat or not?" He asked noticing that I haven't touched my food.

"No."

"Ight then. I tried to feed you. Back downstairs." He said grabbing my arm. "Wait. Can I use the bathroom first?" I asked. "Isn't it a bucket in the basement?" He asked looking me up and down. "Dave please. I just want to use the bathroom like a normal person." I said. "If I trusted you, I would. But I don't." He said pushing me towards the basement door.

**

I was pacing back and forth in the basement when I heard a loud car engine. It suddenly stopped as a knock on the front door came. This must be the guy Dave was talking about. I heard an extra voice and an extra set of footsteps alongside Dave's.

Think Madyson.

I grabbed the bat that I found earlier and followed the sounds of the footsteps. I hit the bat against the ceiling. "Help!" I yelled. The sounds of the footsteps and the voices came to an end. "Help me!" I yelled again still banging the bat. I listened as I heard a commotion and yelling.
