I sat in Yeonjuns living room just waiting to be noticed. I have learned from past relationships that you don't want to be clingy yet you don't wanna be distant either. I still had a hard time balancing between the two but was working on it.
Yeonjun had thrown a party and was mingling with the guest. I didn't know any of them and I wasn't really a party goer either. The party died down and only a few of his close friends were still in his living room. I had been bypassed so many times I didn't think anyone could see me. Story of my life right!
"Yeonjun we should take a beach trip" His friend that I didn't know said enthusiastically.
"I love the beach we should" Yeonjun replied.
"We can all take our girlfriends everyone in?" Everyone nodded except me and they didn't even notice. I tried to slip out when I got caught.
"We're are you going?" Taehyun asked me.
"Home it's late" I said in a monotone voice.
"Why are you not planning for this trip with them?" He asked taking a sip of his drink.
"It's very obvious I wasn't invited" I kept my eyes to the door in front of me.
"They said girlfriends as well" I turned to him with tears threatening to fall in the corner of my eyes.
"I don't think I am his girlfriend. I don't think anyone but you can see me." I didn't even think twice when opening the door and leaving.
Yeonjun's POV
Saying bye to everyone I looked around for that one person I swear I had seen not too long ago.
"If you are looking for (y/n) she left like 2 hours ago" Taehyun informed me. I took my phone out to text her but he stopped me.
"I wouldn't bother she is very upset" I panicked that the news.
"Why is she upset?" I started looking for my house keys and my bus/subway card.
"She is upset because she doesn't think anyone can see her. You all planned a trip in front of her. And she sat on that couch the entire night and you didn't even say a word to her nor did anyone else." I facepalmed leaving a red spot on my forehead.
"Taehyun just tell me what her exact word were."
"I don't think I am his girlfriend. I don't think anyone but you can see me." Those words falling off of Taehyuns lips destroyed my heart. It was beyond a shatter. It was indescribable.
I panicked and made my way to her place. I couldn't find my bus nor subway card so I ran. Finally getting to her door and knocking I heard a broken voice before answering the door.
"Who is it?"
"Babe open the door" she opened the door and I scooped her in my arms hugging her tight. I set her down and she pushed me away.
"Why are you here" I started crying I got on my knees and hugged her waist burying my face in her stomach.
"I love you!" That's the first time I ever said that so it was her first time hearing it.
"You what?" She whispered.
"I love you! I love you so much and I hurt you so bad tonight I ended up hurting myself more." She bent down a tiny bit and kissed me.
"I love you too and I am sorry I can't be the person you want me to be." She whispered on my lips.
"You are already the person I have always wanted."
