I was walking into the college dorms when I smelled something amazing coming from our community kitchen. Not a lot of people use it, but one person did to bake for the whole floor. She was rather quiet and used baking to express the loneliness she was feeling. It was hard for her to be one of the only Americans in an S.Korean private college.
She was fluent in so many languages and knew how to cook food from around the world. She was top of her class and in my opinion, the prettiest girl I have ever seen.
I caught myself gawking over her multiple times. I would get up in the middle of the night wanting a snack and would walk by her baking up a storm.
She was truly amazing.
Our dorm was having a relay race to see which floor would be in charge of planning the activities for the month. This meant (Y/N) was always put to work as a station.
In her station, you had to try to decipher what language was being written and what it said with a few hints.
In the past 2 years, she worked it alone but I decided to volunteer and help her this year.
I walked into her room really early so we could set up since this was an all-day event.
"Hey (Y/N) what do you want me to set up?" She turned around wearing a hoodie and jeans with her thicker frame and lens glasses she only wears when she is in her room and had her hair in a messy bun with fuzzy socks slippers.
I was mesmerized, to say the least.
"Oh hey, Yeonjun! You are the one helping me this year?" She questioned getting her worksheets ready.
"Yes, If you don't mind?" She smiled at me, making it hard for my lungs to receive the necessary percentage of oxygen to be able to live.
"Oh no, I don't. You are the very few people I like on this floor." she giggled and that's when I lost it... My mind! I lost my mind.
"Well, that's great to hear. Anyways we should get situated and the games start in 30 mins." I took my seat next to her as we talked for the majority of the day watching over the station.
After Activities were done:
"Hey (Y/N) would you like to go eat with me." I shot my shot and I was hoping I wouldn't regret it.
"Yeah that would be nice" She smiled at me.
At pizza Parlor:
"I had a lot of fun working at my station with you." She smiled putting a piece of pizza on her plate.
"I had a lot of fun too. I also learned so much from it." She giggled as my mind was telling itself * I also fell in love with you a shit ton more*
We ate and talked for a while, enjoying each other's company and getting to know each other a little more.
A few weeks later and hanging out regularly:
"(Y/N) I brought baking powder" I walked into our kitchen as she was baking again.
I got worried because she has been doing this a lot when she is stressed. I can't seem to get her out of here after classes. She wiped her hands on her apron and walked over to me to take the baking powder.
"Thank you!" She smiled sweetly.
She finished her baking, turning everything off and turning to me just watching her in amazement.
"(Y/N) why don't we go relax? We can watch a movie?" I asked her and she actually agreed.
I got her out of the kitchen and ran to get what she had left.
We cuddled in her bed under the blanket watching the movie. I watched as she laid her head on my chest watching it cautiously not wanting to miss anything.
"(Y/N)?" I called out to her watching her head move to face me.
"MMM?" she hummed making me aware she was listening. I looked at her and tried to say whatever came to mind but I couldn't.
I instead showed her with actions.
I carefully leaned in and placed a soft chaste kiss on her lips pulling away quickly not wanting to overstep. She closed her eyes then fluttered then open looking at me. I was very nervous about what might happen next.
"You like me?" She asked as I bit my bottom lip and nodded.
"If you like me kiss me like you mean it and not like you are afraid." She smiled as I chuckled and leaned back in kissing her passionately as she leaned into me more to deepen the kiss.
"You're mine now!" I whispered on her lips while I was pulling away.
"I would gladly be yours Choi Yeonjun"
