The boys and I were at a bonfire that one of Yeonjun's close friends invited us to. It was winter and I was sooo cold. It didn't matter how many layers I had I was freezing. I got closer to the fire to see if I could get warm but at this point, I would have to throw myself in to feel any type of warmth. I was crushing hardcore on Yeonjun not knowing he felt the same way. (A/n: so cliché and 90's romcom)
I was sitting next to my best friend Beomgyu huddled up to him like two penguins trying to radiate heat from each other.
"Hey (y/n) are you cold?" Matt walked over and sat next to me. Matt was my older brother's friend and he creeped me out. Since I was 16 (a minor) and he was 21 he has been complimenting me but in the most creepy and vulgar way. Beomgyu knew all about me and scooted me towards Soobin while Huening Kai sat on the other side of me.
"Here I will warm you up," Hukai said hugging me.
"Thank baby bear" I smiled at him.
I went to get a drink with Taehyun but he got pulled away by a very pretty girl. Matt saw his opportunity and approached me. I rolled my eyes bracing for the impact but before he got to me Yeonjun walked over to me and back hugged me.
"Hey Beautiful" he smiled at me when I looked back to see who it was.
"Hey Junnie" I blushed but for some reason, I already felt warmer.
"Wow, you are freezing even with all those layers. Come on let's go back to the fire" he took my hand in his and we walked to where we were sitting. I was going to sit in the lawn chair next to him but he pulled me into his lap. He extended his coat to wrap around me securing it with his arm. It's felt cozy and right.
He looked down at me laying my head on his shoulder and crossing one leg under the other on his lap.
"Are you comfy now?" He asked with a huge smile.
"Yes I am and I am actually a ton warmer now." I blushed looking down.
Matt started a ghost story and I am one of those people that get freaked out easily. I tried to focus on other things but when we heard a bang I jumped.
"Hey it's okay I am here and none of us 5 will let anything happen to you." I smile at him and in that moment he kissed me. When Matt saw us kissing he got angry and left with a huff and Hukai laughing at him.
The kiss warmed my insides and outside. We proceeded with bonfire festivities but not as friends but more!!
