I was best friends with this guy named Choi Yeonjun. We had not seen each other in years since he moved to America when he was 9 for two years and when he got back we moved.
We didn't keep in touch and I wish we had but it's too late now. I was back in Korea actually I had been back for 3 years just never told anyone. I had been looking for Yeonjun with no success but I had no idea what he looked like now.
I kept him in the back of my mind all the time but stopped actively looking for him.
I was walking to work when a bunch of people started making a crowd and screaming some names. 'Idols' I scoffed to myself and rolled my eyes. I looked at my phone and was still a little early for work but didn't want to get caught up in this. I crossed the street and made my way to work. It was a pretty winter day and I loved those days in Korea.
Time skip
I had finished work late so I was walking back home when I collided with someone. It felt like a Kdrama moment but those things never happen to normal people like me.
When the person and I were falling he turned his body so he would collide with the ground and I would land on top of him. Yeah, it is really cheesy but he did it.
When we both got up and he looked in my eyes I swear I could have passed out if he wasn't still holding me tight.
I pulled down his mask and frowned.
"I am sorry sir I thought you were someone else. I am sorry for running into you I should-"
"(Y/n)" he cut me off quickly. My eyes widened and I was a little freaked out.
"Um... who are you and how do you know my name?" He looked deep into my eyes and that's how I knew.
"Yeonjunnie?" I whispered. But it couldn't be. His face was everywhere as an Idol and... and... oh my.
"Do you know how long I have been looking for you when did you get back?" He hugged me tight putting his face in my neck and taking a deep breath.
I held him close taking in his scent as well.
"I have been back for 3 years looking for you but never found you until now I guess" I chuckled at the coincidence.
"I actually have been looking for you too." I smiled when he mumbled that in my neck. There was always something special about him. I could never pinpoint it but he always made me feel different.
We stayed hugging as he backed up into a more private spot in the alleyway.
He pulled away cupping my face with one hand and the other still securely around my waist. His eyes flickered from my lips to my eyes. This moment felt like we had never left each other's side. When you think of it we never did in some ways.
He risked it all and leaned in to kiss me. I kissed back right away because for the first time ever... a kiss, this kiss felt right.
