Yey guys, I've been having an all-time low inspiration slump, and adding that with some bad comments on AYWS led me to not posting for months, and for that I'm sorryy.
I know where I want the story to go and how it'll end but I'd loveeee to know what you're thinking, what you're liking and not liking ❤️I also feel like I should out a ⚠️trigger warning⚠️. This chapter involves sex without consent.
Thursday, 3th March 2016 - The Past
It had been a dry month, with no rain and especially no snow. I was finding it weird to not be snowing in February but the snow had already made a heavy appearance that year.
In the early morning when I woke up it was still pitch black outside, and it was one of those days where my motivation and will to live was down to zero.
I reluctantly got out of bed rushing to turn on the heater. I walked over to my window's bench and checked my phone to find several unread messages from Jack, which I answered to none. As time went by he was getting more invested in me as I was losing every hope in this relationship. With this feeling came the guilt of leading someone on only to break their hearts. I just had to find a nice way to break up with Jack. To add up to the boys' problem list I had called Bryson five times yesterday without getting any response, late last nigh he called but I was already asleep. So before I started getting ready I called him again only to go straight to voicemail. I shook my head and decided to get ready early and go to his house.
After wandering about the liveness of Bryson I got dressed and headed downstairs to have breakfast. When I got into the kitchen a scent of coffee and warm food filled my lungs, as I saw my grandma was making pancakes and brewing coffee.
"Good morning, grandma," I said while sitting down.
"Daisy!" She said turning brutally around. "You scared me!" She exclaimed laughing.
"So... You're making pancakes."
"Well, I thought it would be a good change of pace." She said while putting three pancakes on a plate and handing it to me.
"They smell great," I said but still a bit confused. My grandma had been making me waffles for breakfast for 11 years, the difference in the smell was making me uneasy.
"Well, I thought it would be good to make a change, honey. Sometimes life needs things to get shaken up a bit. We're so focused on our day-to-day life, that we forget the beauty of new things." She said while pouring coffee into two mugs without looking at me.
"Okay..." I trailed looking at her suspiciously, "Is everything alright, grandma?"
She took a big sight while putting sugar on the coffee, and when she finally turned around with the cups she had a worried look on her face, which was making me anxious and leading me to think of all the worst-case scenarios.
"Well, you know your well-being and your happiness is the most important thing to me." She said while sitting down on the chair beside me.
"You're making me worried me, grandma." All the scenarios in my head now involved incurable diseases.
"And I know how important your friendship with Bryson is to you-"
"Oh, good lord, grandma!" I said raising my hands to my hair, "You scared me- Is this about Bryson? What could be so serious to make a fuss that might give me a heart attack?"
"Well, I know of your situation." She said as if apprehensive of what to say next. "That you too might feel something other than-"
"Oh, no! It's not like that!" I assured her.
