Snow fell from the white sky but it wasn't a match for the red that tainted the once beautiful covered field. Bodies now strewn across the land, some smouldering from a fire that had died down and others were tangled corpses with their faces missing, not showing who the person once was. They were a nothing now.

At the top of the hill stood four figures with a woman on her knees, hands bound behind her back as she was forced to watch the slaughter of her mates pack. Tears streamed down her once ivory flesh, black streaks of mascara marking her pale flesh as she was bound and useless to stop the bloody battle that had just happened.

"Revoke the bond! Now!" A voice bellowed from above her, The woman focused on her mate and how he was now kneeling in front of her too wounded to stand up and finish off the remaining Elders. His golden eyes watching his mate as he shook his head slowly.
"Don't do it -"
His words barely reached her ears and more tears brushed down her cheeks as she
closed her eyes tightly.

"But I can't lose you.." She whispered back to him before sniffling and rubbing her cheek on her shoulder staining the barely grey shirt more with mascara.
This fight wasn't suppose to happen, the Elders weren't suppose to know about her bond with an Alpha wolf. They just shouldn't of found out but somehow they did and now the pack was slaughtered like pigs in a butcher's, just to make an example out of the two creatures who dared to break the feud between vampires and werewolves.

"Please don't. I'm begging you.." Theo tried to crawl towards her only to be greeted by the boot of an Elder. The woman flinched when she heard the breaking of bones and the male fell to the floor, blood ran from his mouth as he coughed, The red liquid splattered across the white field.
"I promise to find you.." He swore to her as he managed to pull himself up onto his knees.
"I Grace Eliza Bennett, hereby revoke my bond to you Theodore Williams. I feel no love to you.."

Her voice broke as her lower lip trembled, trying to fight back the tears as she felt that bond between them straining and trembling from her words, threatening to break.
"I free you from this bond.."
The last words fell from her lips, the bond snapped and it felt like a thousand shards of glass had splintered into her undead heart and she sobbed.
"Damien, bring her"
"Yes Byron.."

Grace felt a large hand wrap around her upper arm before dragging her onto her feet. Theo simply looked at his mate, Grace could see the breaking of his heart within his eyes but his face was almost expressionless.
"I'll find you Grace.."
Those words were the last thing Grace heard; as she was lead away before a soul crushing howl of pain filled the early morning, scaring any wildlife away from where the bloody battle took part merely moments ago.
