Theo continued to watch Grace as she walked beside him, he could tell that she was tensed and he knew that she was still hungry too, finding her something to feast on before she became too unstable was important.

Turning to look over his shoulder towards the large brown wolf behind him and motioned for him to go ahead. There were other wolves nearby helping Theo search for Grace but now with Diego running ahead he knew the pack would return home and put up extra guards on the perimeter. How could a leech sneak in and kill his Luna without him noticing? Was he really already losing grip?

Shaking his head he glanced down once more to see Grace was no longer beside him and he stopped in his tracks to look around, finding her a few feet behind him: her gaze fixed into the trees to the left of her. Slowly he turned and begun to walk back to her.

"Grace? What is it?" He asked her quietly, his large hands coming to rest on her shoulders and he immediately felt her tense up from his touch.

"That smell..-" She said to him quietly, almost like she was in a trance, Theo frowned before sniffing the air a little.

Blood.

Lots of fresh blood and it was human too. Theo's grasp tightened on her shoulders.

"Grace c'mon, it isn't worth it.. Their group may still be nearby..-" He tried to reason with her, his right hand lifting up to stroke the side of her face and brush over her hair. Grace simply shrugged him off.

"No..-" She said as she begun to move, her pupils almost fixed as she begun to walk towards the smell, her feet automatically moving her forward. Theo knew this would be a trap. Leeches would know a Hybrid like Grace would be starving, it had been so long and who knew how much information they had learnt about Grace over the years.

"Grace, don't..- It's a trap. They will be waiting..-" Theo tried grabbing at her shoulder again but she simply turned and shoved him backwards, her strength sending him flying into a tree before landing on the ground with a heavy thud.

"I'm fucking hungry!" She yelled at him, fangs bared as she snarled at him, the green in her eyes glowing red for a moment before she turned away and vanished as she took off running. Theo laid on the ground looking at where Grace once stood before slowly pulling himself up off the ground, hearing thumping of multiple paws he turned to see Diego appear with his Omega Lucas; both in their wolf forms as they trotted over to him before coming to a halt.

'Some leeches have been taken care of near the community..- Where is Grace?" Diego asked through the telepathic pack link. Theo shook his head slightly before rubbing his face with his hand.

"Shit..-" He mumbled, Leeches were in. It was only a matter of time before more were sent this way unless Grace was just caught. "She took off after the smell..- Put me on my arse" He admitted. "If Leeches are already in than no doubt she's been caught again, she is hungry and I need to go get her" He said as he begun to walk in the direction Grace took off him but Diego's brown wolf blocked him.

'She can handle herself for a couple of hours..- We need a plan Theo..-' Diego said, his voice echoing in Theo's mind. He knew he was right but Theo had only just gotten Grace back. Maybe Diego was right, she would handle herself.

"Fine but I am going soon as daylight comes back, understood?" He said to Diego and Lucas who nodded their heads before all three of them began to walk back towards the pack home.

What the hell did the Leeches have planned for Grace?
