Chapter 30

Thro paced his cabin, the faint smell of Grace still lingered but it was fading; almost like he was losing her all over again. "Fuck..-" He cursed out loud, a hand running through his grey locks before slamming them onto his table causing the cups to rattle and shake.

A knock at the door was unwanted but he knew the person behind the door wasn't going to go away anytime soon. "What is it Maya?" He asked as the door opened slowly. The blonde walked inside with her brother, the twins were usually joint to the hip so it wasn't odd for them both to come but the tension between them was... Different.. Almost challenging.

Turning to look at the pair Theo folded his arms across his chest studying each one for a moment. "Well? I haven't got all night-" He told them.

"It's time you stepped down as Alpha, you've let a Hybrid come in and play havoc on this pack. People are worried this is going to start another war and we don't think you are ready for it...-" Zac said as he stepped to Theo clearly challenging him. Theo simply rose a brow as he watched the smaller man.

"You are going to do what exactly Zac? You're not even close to being an Omega" He sneered, Maya stepped towards Theo and pointed a finger at him. "He could of been if you had agreed to our parents arrangements!" She snapped, Theo looked to her with a very bored expression. "Maya that was three lifetimes ago and you should be fucking grateful I didn't kick you out of the pack after their death. I have no reason to keep you or your brother here"

Theo stepped closer, his shadow casting over them and prompting them to step back. A low chuckle escaped Theo. "You can't even stand your ground now so I suggest you both get your backsides back out there looking for a way into Byron's Castle or you pack up and fucking leave" He walked past them and headed outside just as Diego came looking for him.

"Everything good Theo?" Diego asked as he walked alongside Theo. The Alpha nodded with a small chuckle "Yup, just some low ranks thinking they can try challenge–" He told Deigo, he never lied to his Beta, had no reason too. Diego looked over his shoulder to see the two blonde's glaring in their direction.

"Don't get too comfy Theo, I think they might put your head on a pike if you get to relaxed around them"

"Let them try, I'll have them running with their tails between their legs within a breath..-"
