"Byron?"

A knock came from the wooden door, quiet giggles could be heard from the other side as Damien scuttled his feet against the stoned flooring. Footsteps could be hear stalking to the door and the male took a step back to be greeted by the Original Elder completely naked.

"What is it Damien?! I told you to not disturb us..-" Byron snapped, Damien instantly bowed his upper body out of respect, keeping his eyes on the bare feet of his Elder.

"I have news that the Hybrid has gotten free and she is back with the wolves..-" He said almost too quietly, barely a whisper. His body tensing waiting for Byron's actions which came on time.

"WHAT!?" He bellowed. The females in the bed behind him were now sat up looking at the two males in panic and fear.

"Something happened at the lab and she was set free, I've sent men to the city to scout for her but I believe the Alpha has already found her. We caught wolf scent on the no man land but no sign of them... I think he used a shield of some kind..-" Damien quickly added.

Byron clenched his jaw in frustration, if this was true and the damn bastard Hybrid was now awake and walking among them once again, it wouldn't be long until others caught wind of this news and there could be an uprising; one that may not work in the Vampire's favour.

"Fuck...- Fuck.." Byron ran his fingers through his dark locks before inhaling deeply and let the breath out slowly. He needed to get that Hybrid back on ice or at least at his castle.

"Keep searching for her, she either comes willingly or you use any force necessary.. I don't care who is killed in the process. You get her back where she belongs.." He growled before going back in his room and slammed the door shut.

Damien stood looking at the door for a few moments before nodding to himself "Right away..-"

He turned on his heels before heading off back down the hall in order to set up some recruits. He knew the vampires outside the walls were starving and they would be perfect for pulling the Hybrid and Alpha out of hiding. They were pawn and blood driven; perfect creatures to release into the city of mortals.

However even after all this time Damien still never understood why Grace rejected Byron's offer, her refusal sparked a war eons ago and he had a feeling history was going to repeat itself.

Giggling and moans soon resumed from behind the doors within Byron's Chambers. He had no need to deal with the matter until he had no choice, the women within his bed were calling his attention and like a good host he was going to make sure they were satisfied as well as himself.
