It didn't take long for the pair to pack up the camp once more and begin their journey back to his land on foot, it was however colder than Grace could ever remember land to be but like Theo had explained to her? The land of the vampires wasn't cared for since they couldn't be out in the sunlight unlike the wolves and humans.
Her feet were cold and aching but Grace kept quiet until Theo noticed that she was beginning to fall behind and he stopped, dropping the two bags off his back. "Put these in the bag for me and toss them onto me" He said as he begun to strip off, Grace's eyes widened instantly.
"Theo!"
Soon his large black wolf stood in place of him, Grace stood looking at him in awe and dumbfounded, how could she forget how beautiful he was? Slowly walking to him she held her hands up to show she wasn't a threat when he rumbled at her. Once close enough Grace stroked a hand through his thick wire like fur. A sound that was almost a purr came from Theo and she stepped closer, burying herself into his fur for a moment.
"Still beautiful..-"
She whispered before laughing when she felt his head nudge her shoulder, signalling to pick up the bags which Grace did without effort and slung them on the back of him before climbing onto him herself. Fingers thrusting into his dark fur for balance and she nudged him with her foot.
"Let's go..-" She said and Theo threw his head back letting out a loud howl before running off back towards the boarder between the two lands.

Diego stood away from the pack who were sat around the fire, talking among themselves quietly about where their Alpha was, it wasn't like him to be gone this long. Some were questioning if he had abandoned them.
Heads turned when they heard hooves hammering on the ground, Diego began to move towards the treeline only to see Monte appear injured and without Theo.
"Woah! Easy boy..-" Diego said as he grabbed the reins and stroked the nose of the horse "What happened boy?" He said, other wolves walked over, their eyes looking at the wounds on the horses legs.
"Where is Theo?" A voice came from the crowd and Diego turned to look over his shoulder at the pack. He was the Beta, it was his duty to look after them when Theo wasn't around but he still wasn't ready to act as Alpha and lead them but right now he had no choice.
"I'm sure he is fine, we all know he can handle himself, he will be back but for now we to sort Monte, so find Monica..-" He ordered and a couple of females went off back to the house in order to find the vet. Diego tugged on the reins and began to lead Monte back to the stables.
Diego couldn't help him mind wander, what if something terrible had happened to Theo whilst he went chasing after Grace? Was it even Grace? He never saw this apparent wolf in the city, what if he had finally cracked?
Fighting his best friend and Alpha to lead the pack wasn't something Diego wanted to do but he now had to possibly consider it if his friend returned home without his former Luna at his side.
